Krishna Srinivasan shared thisHuge congratulations Tim Heyl and the entire team Homeward on the $120M Series D and $330M of new debt facilities! Having had a ringside seat here since we led the seed round at the inception of the company, I can attest to the insane grit, creativity, and hard work behind the evolution of the business leading to the success they're having despite one of the toughest housing markets in recent memory. Here at LiveOak Ventures we are incredibly excited to continue to see the momentum in the years to come!!Krishna Srinivasan shared thisBig news from Homeward today – we announced $120M in Series D equity and a $330M debt facility. I’ve been pretty quiet on LinkedIn the past few years, and that’s because it was a hard stretch getting here – for the industry, for agents, and for us. We had to adapt in ways we didn't anticipate. Our products evolved, our model got sharper, and we found ways to keep growing even as transaction volume dropped in the worst real estate market in recent history. That work is what I'm most proud of. This investment will go towards helping us expand our agent-focused financing solutions, improving the technology platform that supports a seamless end-to-end transaction, and grow into new markets across the US. So far, we’ve partnered with 25,000+ agents and facilitated $4B+ in transactions… and we still have a lot more to do. Grateful to the Homeward team, to our investors, and to the agents who kept trusting us through the hard years. (Homeward article in the comments)

Krishna Srinivasan shared thisHuge congratulations Ryan Boerner and everyone at Keep Aware. From all of us at LiveOak Ventures are extremely proud to have been on the journey with you!Krishna Srinivasan shared thisWe're excited to share that Jamf has acquired Keep Aware. Keep Aware sees what happens inside the browser: AI tool usage, shadow SaaS, sensitive data activity. That's the activity that never shows up at the OS level. Paired with Jamf's native Apple endpoint management, it enables IT and security teams to provide real-time protection from the device into the browser, covering the full picture of where work happens. It's a big step toward the platform we're building at Jamf: complete visibility and control across every layer, from endpoint to browser. Read more here: https://okt.to/ZQD5kc

Krishna Srinivasan shared thisA treatise on the steps that Aaron Benz and the team at CampusIQ took as they have become the most AI-forward company I know of and certainly in the LiveOak Ventures portfolio! A terrific read for anyone embarking on this journey especially on the change management challenges with getting there. And they are hiring (no not robots, real humans), hands-on leaders for sales, engineering and security. Great place to be part of an exceptional company and of course, in the process, become comprehensively AI-pilled!Krishna Srinivasan shared thisEverybody ships. https://lnkd.in/gPyZrGMqEverybody Ships: How CampusIQ Built an AI-Native CompanyEverybody Ships: How CampusIQ Built an AI-Native Company

Krishna Srinivasan reposted thisKrishna Srinivasan reposted thisRDC is proud to announce its participation in a landmark transaction: the first-ever Bitcoin Depositary Receipt (BTC DR) trades have been executed through Clear Street's prime brokerage platform. As the first depositary to issue DRs on digital and alternative assets, RDC issued the BTC DRs that were traded by institutional clients UTXO Management and GTS through Clear Street's prime brokerage infrastructure and settled through the Depository Trust Company (DTC). Bitcoin underlying the DRs is held at Anchorage Digital Bank N.A., the first federally chartered crypto bank in the U.S., in a bankruptcy-remote, segregated custody structure. BTC DRs can also be converted intraday on an in-kind basis into the underlying Bitcoin, giving institutions maximum flexibility. This transaction is a powerful validation of growing institutional demand for DR structures — and a clear signal of what's possible as we continue expanding our platform. Krishna Srinivasan posted thisThe Austin startup community lost one of its brightest lights this week. Joshua Baer was a force of nature as a genuine champion for this city and founders at every stage. I went and checked Pitchbook - Capital Factory is our most active co-investor at LiveOak Ventures, with over 15 companies where we led their first institutional rounds. Most of them because Josh built the place where those founders got their start. Most of you know him for his impact on the entrepreneurial scene. I also knew him as a fellow commiserator in the annual father-daughter dance performance in our respective daughter's dance drill team. I will always remember him so affectionately from that performance. Josh, you will be deeply missed. The entrepreneurial scene won't be the same without you.

Andy and Weston set out to protect people and their hard-earned money in real estate closings. More than 2 million transactions and $900B later, that work now gets a much bigger platform. Now, being acquired by CertifID, they're taking on fraud that is growing twice as fast as cybercrime overall. Congratulations, Andy, Weston, Tyler Adams, and teams. Proud to have been in your corner at LiveOak, and excited to watch you build this at a much bigger scale🏡 #allinontexas #locallygrown #globallyknown #liveoakventures Mike Marcantonio

Krishna Srinivasan reacted on thisWe are thrilled to share that Keep Aware has joined Jamf! 🎉 When we first met Ryan Boerner, he had a simple but ambitious conviction: no matter how strong perimeter security becomes, threats find their way to the employee. Protection therefore has to happen at the point of click: inside the browser itself. From the beginning, it was clear that Ryan understood the human side of security. Keep Aware built a platform that sees what doesn't show up at the OS level: AI tool usage, shadow SaaS, and sensitive data moving through the browser. Paired with Jamf's Apple endpoint management, that visibility now extends from the device into the browser, covering the full picture of where work happens. We are proud to have led the seed round, with Creighton Hicks serving on the board. As Ryan says, there is still much left to build. Congratulations to the entire Keep Aware team! #allinontexasKrishna Srinivasan reacted on thisWe're excited to share that Jamf has acquired Keep Aware. Krishna Srinivasan reacted on thisKrishna Srinivasan reacted on thisI’m excited to share that Jamf has acquired Keep Aware. It’s hard to put into words how much work went into getting to this point. We started Keep Aware with a belief that the browser was becoming too important to remain a blind spot for IT and security teams. That has only become more true. SaaS changed how people work, and AI is accelerating that shift even further. The browser is going to remain a critical layer for understanding and governing modern work for a long time. Jamf sees that opportunity, and I’m genuinely excited that we get to continue building toward it as part of their team. There are a lot of people who helped make this possible. To our investors and advisors, including Creighton Hicks, David Endler, Michael Sutton, Jonathan Cran, and many others who backed us along the way: thank you for believing in what we were building, especially when the path was much less obvious than it is today. To our customers: thank you for trusting a lean team with an important part of your environment, pushing us to make the product better, and giving us the opportunity to prove that this problem mattered. And most importantly, to the Keep Aware team and my cofounder Noah Shafer: I’m incredibly proud of what we built together. None of this happens without the persistence, care, and belief this team brought every day. The part I’m most excited about is that the work doesn’t stop here. We get to keep building, now with Jamf behind us and a much larger opportunity ahead. There is a lot left to build. https://lnkd.in/dxpZNzDS Keep Aware Jamf LiveOak Ventures Runtime Ventures gener8tor

Institutions don’t fail all at once. They fail when design can’t keep up with change. In Davos this week, I’ll be joining the inaugural gathering of the Institutional Research Network, a new initiative convened by The Digital Economist. The focus is not another set of conversations but the patient work of connecting research, markets, and governance so ideas can take institutional form and hold under real-world pressure. Some initiatives are about visibility. This one is about durability. #Davos2026 #InstitutionalDesign #IRN #TheDigitalEconomist

At Bread and Butter Ventures, we're in our 7th year of investing in digital health. I've been hearing a lot of feedback lately from both funds and founders alike that VC funding for tech-enabled care delivery is fewer and far between these days. I'm super bullish on tech-enabled care as a component of a digital health portfolio because I believe that true, lasting innovation will be driven by bottoms-up early stage innovation responding to top-down industry pain points, and that to innovate we must have distribution through the incumbent plumbing of the healthcare system - and that includes care at the center. Yes, the margins are lower than pure software, but the distribution network of healthcare is very different than pure B2B. We're super interested right now in: ✅ Applications of AI to in infrastructure and operations of health care systems, provider networks, health plans to reduce manual work and enable everyone to operate at their best and highest use ✅ Applications of AI to clinical decision support and ultimately care delivery ✅ Solutions that address population health and help with access to care in both rural and urban settings (both from a care & cost perpspective), cardiometabolic health, women's health (still wildly uninvested opportunities to serve half the population), eldercare ✅ Insurtech, fintech and the payments layer of healthcare We would love to connect with more co-investors at all stages (pre-seed, seed, later stage) who are actively investing in digital health and specifically at tech-enabled care solutions to drive the next generation of healthcare innovation. Please DM us or tag a firm/investor here!

Before I became a VC, I was a founder six times. Those experiences permanently changed the way I think about venture capital. A check can accelerate a company. It cannot replace customers, judgment, technical expertise, recruiting, and perseverance. Or, perhaps most importantly, someone willing to tell a founder hard truths when the easy answers are wrong. I’ve also come to believe something else: Capital is necessary. It is nowhere close to sufficient. Good VCs help you close your next round. Great VCs help you build a lasting business from scratch. I’m grateful to the National Venture Capital Association and Jessica W. for featuring our story and giving me the opportunity to talk about what Cortado Ventures is building across the U.S. Midcontinent. There is extraordinary innovation happening in aerospace & defense, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, mobility, logistics, space and other critical industries. In this era of rapid change, we believe that proximity will matter even more. And this is just the beginning. #VentureCapital #FrontierTech #Midcontinent
