Lanae Martineau shared thisLanae Martineau shared thisAfghanistan refugees in Northern California will be given all the cooking, baking, and dining supplies needed for their new kitchens, gathered with the help of local volunteers and community organizations working together through JustServe. The International Rescue Committee put out a call for 50 kitchen kits in October, and the Tri-Valley community responded in a huge way. Organizers created a new project on JustServe.org, with an Amazon wish list for things like frying pans, pots, knife sets, utensils, and more. On the first day, 115 items were purchased, and in only five days, all 500 items were ordered to make the 50 kitchen kits. So organizers increased the number of items to see if they could get to 70 kitchen kits. In just one week, they met their goal. A total of 700 items was purchased, equaling a value of more than $11,000. “I think the reason this one was so successful is because we partnered with community members as well,” said Bruce Bird, the assistant area director for JustServe in Northern California. “We reached out and invited other churches to join us. We invited community groups and other nonprofits to join with us.” Read the full story, including how one Amazon delivery driver was personally moved by this great service project, by clicking here: https://lnkd.in/gBR6y6ZH

Tonight, we’re going beyond the famous words to uncover the revolutionary principles in the Declaration of Independence that transformed the world, and why they matter just as much as they did 250 years ago. If you’ve never studied the Declaration line by line, you may discover ideas that completely change the way you view liberty, government, and your rights. Join me as we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. I was thrilled to sit on a panel with Steve Forbes (former U.S. presidential candidate), Kelley Paul (Rand Paul’s wife), and David Fisher (Historian). The panel was moderated by Erick Erickson (nationally-syndicated talk show host). Topic: What has America done right? If you are here, be sure to stop by the author/speaker’s circle. I’d love to chat.

Lanae Martineau liked thisLanae Martineau liked thisToday is the last day of Freedom Fest at Caesar’s Forum in Las Vegas, NV, and I am thankful for the many friends I made from California to Florida, Ukraine to Germany. What an epic four days! My last radio interview was with Stephanie Weidle, executive director of Feds for Freedom (and nationally known opera singer). What a fantastic 30-minute conversation about what America is missing in the effort to preserve freedom. This was an eye-opening discussion, and it was fun to have a crowd of bystanders listening in to such an invigorating conversation. Great people doing great things. Better days are coming!

Lanae Martineau reacted on thisLanae Martineau reacted on thisIn 2011, Glenn Beck opened some remarkable doors for me. Here’s the short version. In December 2011, I was invited to speak at an event in Phoenix, Arizona. When I arrived, I noticed two men in suits who seemed a bit out of place among a crowd dressed almost entirely in casual attire. I introduced myself, and they simply mentioned they were there to observe the event like everyone else. After I finished speaking, they approached me and said something I’ll never forget: “We’re working on a big project with Glenn Beck. When can you fly out to meet him?” A week later, I found myself sitting in Glenn’s office at Glenn Beck Studios in Las Colinas, Texas. After a moving, emotional conversation, he asked if I would be willing to participate in Restoring Love at Dallas Stadium in February 2012. There wasn’t a moment’s hesitation. I gladly accepted. That meeting became a turning point. Over the following 18 months, Glenn generously allowed me to participate in numerous events, giving me opportunities to share my message across the country and, later on, internationally. Those experiences opened doors to television, radio, and countless opportunities that otherwise may never have come my way. I’ll always be grateful that he saw something in me and was willing to take a chance on a “no name” out of Arizona. Tonight, I’m with him once again at Caesar’s Forum in Las Vegas (Freedom Fest), and he’s bringing down the house. Now more than ever, it’s time to unite around a common cause rather than divide over our differences. America’s best days are ahead.

Outsourced Bookkeeping
1K followers
How will outsourced QuickBooks bookkeeping free my partners to do more CAS and advisory instead of low-margin compliance work?” I hear this from CPA firms all the time. Here’s the reality 👇 Your partners weren’t trained to chase missing receipts, clean up messy QuickBooks files, or reconcile the same accounts month after month. They were trained to: Spot trends in the client’s numbers Advise on cash flow, growth, and tax strategy Build deeper, stickier client relationships When you outsource the day-to-day QuickBooks work (coding, reconciliations, clean-up, month-end close), three things happen: ✅ Partners get hours back every week to focus on CAS and advisory ✅ Your firm can take on more clients without burning out your team ✅ You move away from low-margin “bookkeeping + tax return” and toward high-value recurring advisory Outsourcing isn’t about replacing your team. It’s about protecting their time so they can do the work only they can do. If your partners are still buried in QuickBooks instead of leading client strategy calls, it might be time to rethink the model. 💬 Curious what this could look like for your firm? Drop a “QBO” in the comments or send me a DM and I’ll share a sample workflow. #QuickBooks #QBO #OutsourcedBookkeeping #CPAFirm #USCPA #ClientAdvisoryServices #CAS #AccountingFirms #Bookkeeping #AccountingServices #RemoteAccounting

If you run an accounting or bookkeeping firm, your team probably spends a chunk of every week answering questions that never really change. 👉 Deadlines. 👉 Document checklists. 👉 Process walkthroughs. 👉 Onboarding steps. These questions matter to your clients, but they shouldn't require a senior accountant to answer them every single time. 💡 Beacon Concierge is trained on your firm's knowledge and deployed where your clients already reach you. Check it out at https://lnkd.in/ghjvwF2X 🤖 It handles the routine, so your team can focus on the complex. Swipe to see how it works! Is it time to rethink your CPA relationship? Many Central Valley business owners stay with the same CPA out of habit. But as your business grows in Fresno, Clovis, Madera, Visalia, or Hanford, basic tax filing is no longer enough. If your CPA only shows up at tax time, your tax bill keeps surprising you, or you are not getting proactive guidance, those are signs your business may have outgrown transactional tax prep. A true CPA partner should provide year-round planning, clear forecasting, and strategic insight tailored to your industry. Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/gq63kQM7 👉 Let’s talk about what the right CPA partnership should look like.
