After the sale of a family legacy, just one year ago, the next step wasn't clear. Stay in the industry? Head to tech? Follow a passion? So I picked industry & tech, leaving passion for later... which landed me at CarGurus. My leaders Mary Kate McLemore & Nick Reinbold ensured I was always empowered, supported, and surrounded by a wealth of resources. Today I'm proud to say I am adding passion to the mix. Taking the next step in my career as the newest Strategic Partnerships Manager here at CarGurus. This is the part of the business I care about most. Working cross-functionally inside the organization, finding the right partners, and building things that last. The automotive world is moving fast, and I look forward to having a hand in where it goes. Thank you, Sam Zales, Eric Richmond, Mary Kate McLemore, Nick Reinbold, Juliet Bentley, Meghan Kraus, Rachel Fishman & Rob Stephens, for enabling this opportunity.

After 6 incredible years of rapid growth at McGovern Auto Group, I’ve decided to make the move back to the automotive technology side of the business. Matt McGovern and the entire MAG team are second to none. I was incredibly fortunate to work alongside so many talented people and help grow what I believe is one of the premier dealer groups in the country. I can’t thank Matt and everyone at McGovern enough for trusting me and allowing me to be part of such an amazing journey. Now I get to help build something new. I’m excited to share that I’ve joined CarGurus as Director of Inventory Solutions, supporting products like PriceVantage, StockVantage, Sell My Car, and soon to be much more. I’m thrilled for what’s ahead and can’t wait to share more as we continue helping dealers solve problems and grow their businesses.

Lindsey Pilarczyk liked thisLindsey Pilarczyk liked thisOne of the things I’ve always believed is that the moment you think you’ve figured it all out is the moment you start falling behind. That’s why I love seeing our leaders invest in themselves. This week, several of our General Managers, General Sales Managers, and our Corporate Ecomm Director spent time away from the dealership to sharpen their skills, challenge their thinking, and learn from some of the best in the industry. The best part wasn’t the software or the new features. It was the mindset. Our leaders try to keep pushing for new ideas, different perspectives, and a renewed commitment to finding ways to better serve our customers and support our teams. The automotive industry changes every day. The dealerships that stay ahead aren’t necessarily the biggest or the oldest. They’re the ones that are willing to learn, adapt, and improve before they have to. I’m incredibly proud to be surrounded by leaders who never stop growing. That’s the kind of culture we’re building, and it’s one of the reasons I’m so excited about where we’re headed. Growth isn’t an event. It’s a habit. #Leadership #ContinuousImprovement #GrowthMindset #Automotive #MacHaikAutomotiveGroup

Lindsey Pilarczyk reacted on thisLindsey Pilarczyk reacted on thisAfter 10+ years in sales, I’ve learned something I wish someone had told me earlier… Your career is going to have highs and lows. You’ll celebrate deals you never thought you’d win. You’ll lose ones you were certain were yours. You’ll hit goals that make you proud. And you’ll have quarters that test you. Through all of it, the people who love you—and in my case, my four-legged son, Maxwell—don’t care about your quota, your title, or how much you sold this month. They just care that you walk through the door. Maxwell doesn’t know if I had a great day or a tough one. He doesn’t know if I hit quota or missed it. He doesn’t care what my title is. He’s just genuinely happy that I’m home. Success matters. Work hard. Chase your goals. But don’t let your career become so important that you forget the people waiting for you at the end of the day. At the end of our lives, no one remembers us for the quota we hit—they remember how we showed up for the people we love. That’s the kind of success that lasts. 🐾

Lindsey Pilarczyk reacted on thisLindsey Pilarczyk reacted on this🐾 Maxwell doesn’t care about my quota. My wife only cares that I’m actually here. 🏖️ Lesson from my two favorite coworkers: front-load the quarter, earn the sand. 🌴 For the reps reading this — three things that got me here: 1️⃣ Build pipeline when you don’t need it. The deals closing this month started 60 days ago. 2️⃣ Protect your mornings. First two hours = prospecting, no exceptions. The rest of the day takes care of itself. 3️⃣ Forecast honestly. Sandbagging feels safe but kills trust. Call it like you see it and your manager will trust you when it matters. Quota is a lagging indicator of habits. Fix the habits, the sand finds you. 🌴

Lindsey Pilarczyk reacted on thisLindsey Pilarczyk reacted on this🤝 10 years at CarGurus and 7 President’s Clubs in, and Q2 still reinforced something simple: Dealers can tell the difference between being sold to and being helped. My VP told me I had the highest full-quarter net MRR on our inside team at CarGurus in Q2. I’m grateful for that recognition. What matters more to me is how it happened. The best conversations weren’t about pitching harder. They were about helping dealers think through visibility, pricing, inventory strategy, and where real profit opportunity exists. That’s why I believe good selling is good business. When you help people make smart decisions, trust builds. And when trust builds, results usually follow. Grateful for a strong quarter, grateful for the people I’ve learned from over the last 10 years, and even more motivated for Q3. #Sales #CarGurus #Automotive #Dealership #Leadership

Grateful for the opportunity to spend the day with over +150 colleagues at our annual CG Open ⛳ tournament. (Didn't hurt that our Franchise Squad Charles Rees Francesca W. Teams are built through trust, shared experiences, and taking the time to invest in one another. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success. 🚨 Dealerships: you’re leaving real money on the table by not selling parts online. Let me paint two scenarios for a retail customer holding a broken part 👇 **Without eCommerce :** • Go to parts webpage on dealership site → lengthy order form asking for their first born • If parts is closed, leave a voicemail → hope someone calls back tomorrow • If they are open, call the parts line → sit on hold for 15 minutes and usually give up • Wait longer and finally reach someone → try to explain the part over the phone 5 more minutes • Check store hours for pickup → realize you can’t make it before close any weekday • Momentum (and patience) gone **With eCommerce:** • Snap a pic → use AI/Google reverse image search (See Video) • See Amazon, eBay, and Dealership Webstores with the exact part • Click on listing, Enter VIN → instant fitment verification • Add to cart → checkout in minutes, not days • Shipped to your door, or if you're close, have it door dashed to you in an hour I’m watching some dealerships add **$500K+/month** in incremental online parts revenue. Not hypotheticals—actual numbers. And you don’t have to be a mega-rooftop to win. For once, this is a **level playing field**: the stores that make buying stupid-simple capture the demand. The customer already started their journey on their phone, why not let them finish it there? If you’re not live with a frictionless parts experience—VIN fitment, clear pricing, fast fulfillment—you’re training your customers to buy elsewhere. Ready to stop the leak and stack new revenue? Let’s talk. #AutoRetail #FixedOps #Dealerships #Ecommerce #Parts #Aftermarket #DigitalRetailing #CustomerExperience #RevenueGrowth

Most of the money wasted in automotive isn’t on ads. It’s on uncertainty. We’ve built an industry where: • Buyers have questions they can’t answer online • Dealers pay monthly just to field those questions • Lenders underwrite without seeing the real asset • And everyone calls it “engagement” That’s not engagement. That’s friction. When a car’s actual condition is verified, visual, and undeniable: • Conversations don’t get faster. They get shorter. • Trust isn’t earned. It’s assumed. • Price resistance drops before the first call. • Speed to lead stops mattering because the lead is already qualified. Condition isn’t a feature. It isn’t a report. It isn’t a widget. It’s the missing operating system of automotive. You’re not optimizing conversations. You’re eliminating the need for most of them. Install it and everything else finally makes sense. Ignore it and you’ll keep paying to explain what should’ve been obvious.

Dealerships are betting their margins on service departments they can't staff. CNBC reported this week that as new car margins cool, dealer groups are leaning harder on parts and service to protect profitability. Good strategy on paper. Service is higher margin, cars are staying on the road longer, the math works. But in the last few conversations I've had with dealer GMs and fixed ops leaders, the real story isn't strategy. It's people. → Bays sitting empty because there aren't enough qualified technicians to fill them → Multi-location groups trying to standardize pay, training, and scheduling across stores that all run just differently enough to make it messy You can shift your whole business model toward fixed ops, but if the systems running your people are clunky, disconnected, or never built for how a service floor actually operates, that pivot gets a lot harder to execute. So here's the real question: is the labor side of this strategy actually keeping up, or is it the bottleneck nobody's willing to say out loud? #NADA #FixedOps #ServiceDrive #DealerLife #AutoRetail

Most dealerships don’t lose deals because of price. They lose them because they sound like every other dealership. A customer submits a lead… And within minutes they get: “Yes, the vehicle is still available.” “When can you come in?” “Are you working with anyone?” Same questions. Same tone. Same experience. From every store. So what does the customer do? They respond to the one that feels different. Not the cheapest. Not the closest. The one that actually shows effort. The stores that get it right don’t just respond fast. They respond with intent. A quick, relevant message. A personal video of the exact vehicle. Clear direction on next steps. That changes the conversation immediately. That’s where most stores miss it. The opportunity isn’t just speed. It’s relevance. It’s control of the conversation. It’s making the customer feel like they picked the right place before they ever show up. Based in Scottsdale. Working with dealer groups nationwide to tighten CRM execution and variable operations. If you looked at your last 10 lead responses… would they stand out or blend in? #automotive #carsales #dealership #crm #bdc #leadmanagement #salesprocess #variableops #dealerperformance #automotiveindustry #customerservice #dealershiplife

The numbers don't lie—and right now, they're telling us we have work to do. According to the 2025 NADA Dealership Workforce Study, dealership team member turnover hit a three-year high in 2024. We're approaching levels that represent nearly half of the workforce turning over annually. Sales consultant turnover jumped thirteen percentage points—the highest increase in years—while service advisors, who are critical to long-term customer relationships, also saw significant turnover increases. These aren't just statistics. They represent real people who decided their dealership wasn't the right place for them. And every time someone leaves, there's a cost—not just in dollars, but in lost relationships, institutional knowledge, and team cohesion. I'll be honest: we're not immune to this at Keffer Auto Group. Despite our best efforts—competitive compensation, clear paths for advancement, a strong culture built on our 30 "Winning Ways"—we still lose people we wish would stay. And every time it happens, I ask myself what we could have done differently. What I'm learning is that retention isn't about one big thing. It's about a hundred small things done consistently. It's about whether people feel heard when they have concerns. Whether they see a future for themselves beyond their current role. Whether the day-to-day work environment feels respectful and supportive. Whether their manager invests in their development or just manages their tasks. Research indicates that nearly one-third of HR leaders predict lack of growth opportunities will be the primary cause of employee turnover in 2025. That resonates with me. People don't just want a job—they want a path. Some things that I believe make a difference to team members of any company: ➡️ Building clearer development pathways from entry-level roles to management to operator positions ➡️ Investing in training and cross-functional exposure so people understand the business, not just their department ➡️ Creating more opportunities for people to take on stretch assignments and prove they're ready for the next level ➡️ Being more intentional about recognition—not just for results, but for the behaviors that reflect our values But here's what I know for sure: we won't get this perfect. We'll keep losing some people we wish would stay. The industry will keep changing in ways that create new pressures on compensation, schedules, and expectations. The question is whether we're willing to keep working at it—to treat retention as an ongoing commitment, not a problem we solve once and move on from. What's working in your organization when it comes to keeping your best people? I'd genuinely love to learn from what others are doing. #EmployeeRetention #Leadership #AutoRetail #TalentDevelopment #KefferAutoGroup #WorkforceChallenges

Most dealerships don’t have a process problem. They have a visibility problem. You’ve invested in training, scripts, menus, and compliance rules — but once the customer is sitting in front of your team, everything goes dark. Siro changes that. Siro is the most practical use of AI in automotive today because it doesn’t replace your people — it shows you how they’re actually executing. It records real Sales, Service, and F&I conversations, maps them to your dealership process, and turns them into clear coaching, scorecards, and proof. No mystery shopping. No gut feel. No hoping the training stuck. What dealers are seeing: • Large South West Auto group → PVR up 12% → Maintenance penetration up 83% → Simply by offering every product, every time — verified by Siro scorecards • Over 100 F&I Departments → Reduced litigation risk by automatically flagging non-compliant language → “Every deal checked” instead of random spot audits → Compliance went from stress to confidence • 30 Rooftop Auto Group → Prevented $140,000 in buybacks and chargebacks → Video + AI evidence protected the store from false fraud claims This isn’t “AI for reports.” This is AI for execution: • Coach using real conversations, not role play • See exactly where gross, RO dollars, and close rate leak • Prove compliance instead of reacting to it • Scale best practices across rooftops The best dealers don’t guess. They execute the process better than everyone else. That’s what Siro was built for. #ProcessDrivesProfit #DealershipOperations #AutoRetail #FandI #FixedOps #DealerLeadership #Siro #NADA2026
