Margaux Beuscher, CCM, ECM posted thisAfter 10 years in the DMV, a new chapter begins! 🌴 I’m excited to share that I have officially moved back to Florida and joined John's Island Club as Director of Club Hospitality. As I look ahead, I’m incredibly grateful for the people and experiences that shaped my journey along the way. Thank you to my peers, mentors, and friends at both Chevy Chase Club and Sulgrave Club for your support, friendship, and countless lessons over the years. I’m also especially grateful for my time serving as President on the National Capital Chapter board and for the opportunity to help facilitate the merger that created the Middle Atlantic Chapter of CMAA. I am incredibly proud to complete my term serving as President of the Middle Atlantic Club Foundation and to continue supporting its mission. I’m excited for what’s ahead, grateful for where I’ve been, and ready to embrace this next chapter. Here’s to new opportunities, new challenges, and being back in Florida! ☀️

Such an increidble week!Margaux Beuscher, CCM, ECM shared thisFor the past nine days, I got to be a part of hospitality history as a server in the newest and most exclusive building at Augusta National Golf Club, the Player Services Building, for the 2026 Masters Golf Tournament. The Augusta National team revolutionized professional sports hospitality with this building, providing next-level service and facilities to participants, and I am so grateful that I was hand-selected to serve the players, their caddies, and their families during this tournament. Interacting with guests from around the world further enhanced my cultural competency and passion for language learning. Having the opportunity to serve the highest-level professional golfers in the world has truly been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I would like to thank Allie Waldman, CCM for her leadership and guidance throughout the application process as well as throughout the week. Additionally, I would like to thank my managers, Margaux Beuscher, CCM, ECM, Jordan Miller, CCM, and Danielle Cleary. It really is a tradition unlike any other! #masters War Eagle!

With over 230 members representing more than 71 clubs throughout the Baltimore, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia areas, we are proud to serve as a leading professional association for club managers within our region. Our mission is to offer exceptional education, networking, and leadership development opportunities to our members. Through chapter meetings, workshops, and social events, we aim to promote professional growth, share industry insights, and support informed decision-making. We look forward to the future of our chapter and sharing updates that will further strengthen and enrich our community.

The summit featured compelling and engaging education sessions on the latest club trends, including innovations in food, beverage, and culinary experiences, best practices for financial management, the increasing focus on health and wellness, trends in lodging and overnight accommodation, the impact of cutting-edge technology on private clubs, and strategies for building and refining your club’s brand. In addition to the wonderful educational programming, the The Yale Club of New York City team treated attendees to culinary delights throughout the summit including a live action sushi station from Sushi by Bou, a curated lunch by Chef Gabriel Kreuther, a seafood boil, and a private caviar tasting from Petrossian. Attendees also enjoyed a four-course wine dinner at the storied University Club of New York City with wines provided by In Vino Veritas, as well as a farewell cocktail party at the Harvard Club of New York City. The City Club Summit has been an incredible opportunity to learn, network, and grow as leaders. We were joined by Elisha S. Cicerone, CCM, a dynamic and driven leader with a passion for the club industry and effective change management who currently serves as the General Manager at Chevy Chase Club. Rather than a traditional presentation, we opened the floor for questions and conversation, allowing Elisha to share her experiences, insights, and perspective on leadership, change, and navigating a career in the club industry. There’s something special about learning from women who are willing to share not just what they know, but what they’ve experienced along the way. Thank you, Elisha, for sharing your time, experience, and wisdom with our group!

Time with CMAA friends from across the country, sharing ideas, learning from one another and reconnecting. Especially grateful for time with my fellow Managing Directors. There’s something very special about a group that genuinely wants to see one another succeed and is always willing to share what we’re learning along the way. That really is the ethos of what makes this association, and the club leadership space, so unique and rewarding. Proud of our Florida Chapter for showing up in record numbers and taking first place in the Idea Fair for Member Engagement. Bringing people in, creating connection and giving them reasons to stay engaged. And always a great time! A big thank you to Charles Johnson and the DAC team for an exceptional event as we begin celebrating 100 years of CMAA. World Conference will be here before we know it. See you all soon!

He will chair CMAA’s Audit and Budget & Finance Committees and provide oversight of CMAA’s finances.
