After 42 years in this great industry I retired from Grupo Bimbo on April 1st. Although my time with GB has ended, it has been a glorious journey with all of you. I have a full heart and a deep sense of gratitude as I close an extraordinary chapter of
my life. Serving as CEO and then President of BQ and then Executive VP of North America, and this remarkable global baking business for the past 14 years has truly been the honor of a lifetime. What makes that statement meaningful is not the titles-but the people behind it. The 40,000 associates I had the priveledge to work with across 28 countries who show up every day with commitment, energy, and pride are the reason this journey has been so special.
Together, we built more than a successful business. We created vibrant, growing organizations that delivered meaningful solutions to some of the world's most iconic quick service restaurants, retail brands, channels, and exceptional customers. We strengthened partnerships, expanded across borders, and consistently found ways to meet the evolving needs of our customers and consumers across many cultures. What I am most proud of is not just our growth-it's how we grew. We grew our people alongside our business. We invested in talent, created opportunities, and built a culture rooted in collaboration, trust, respect, fairness and care.
Watching individuals and teams develop, succeed, and exceed their own expectations has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. None of what we accomplished would have been possible without the passion, resilience, and belief of these exceptional teams. Through challenges and opportunities alike, you brought your best-and you made our organizations stronger because of it.
I will always be thankful for your support, your energy, and your unwavering commitment. You didn't just build a business-you built something that matters. As I step away, I do so with immense pride in what we achieved together and great confidence in what lies ahead for these organizations. The foundation is strong, the future is bright, and I have no doubt that continued success is on the horizon. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this journey. It has meant more to me
than words can fully express.
I leave with gratitude, pride, and lifelong memories.
