I had the opportunity to lead a discussion on the dynamic secondaries market with Hans Swildens, founder and CEO of Industry Ventures, and Gabriel Mollerberg, head of EMEA Vintage Strategies for GS. We explored the market’s remarkable acceleration, reaching a record $225 billion in deals in 2025. Growth was primarily driven by the overall growth of private markets, limited partners’ increasing need for liquidity, and general partners’ strategic use of continuation vehicles to manage portfolios and retain high-performing assets. Navigating this complex and expanding market requires specialized expertise and robust platforms. Thank you to Hans, Gabriel, and all our speakers and participants.

Starting the day being greeted with a smiling eyes, a handshake, and a personalized welcome to a place “where everybody knows your name” might be one of the most important things we can do to set the day off in a positive direction. This is true not only for #students but for #teachers and staff members too. Let’s not underestimate the power of those first few moments of the #school day to set the tone for the rest of the day. An early oxytocin boost can go a long way. Let’s all commit to designing school experiences where everyone can feel known, seen, and experience a sense of #belonging. This morning at The Hewitt School our student body president and vice president took things to the next level. In their weekly announcements over the PA, they read the name of every student celebrating a birthday that week. What a beautiful new student-led tradition. Way to go, Hawks! Wishing you all a positive and productive day.
