Rich Miner shared thisIt was such a treat to sit with Scott and Muriel to help Boston celebrate Alexander Graham Bell and ring in the 150th anniversary of the first telephone call.Rich Miner shared thisSo much fun last night participating in the 150th anniversary of the telephone event at the Museum of Science, with Muriel Medard of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and serial entrepreneur + investor Rich Miner. They even brought out some historic phones, and a piece of the first transatlantic cable, for display. (We also played some The Innovation Trail of Greater Boston trivia.) Thanks to everyone who came — and the fantastic MoS progamming team led by James Wetzel Monroe and Marceau Crespo de Nogueira.

Rich Miner shared thisContext is so important in AI. It's essential for a more satisfying user experience, so you're not repeating yourself or the AI is anticipating needs based on past history. Context is also key to getting better results, knowing your preferences, your capabilities and your needs. We built Ray as a personal trainer with context day one. Ray knows you your goals every past workout and with every future workout learns more about your abilities what you can and can't do and where you should be pushed. For me, Star Trek was more than entertainment — it inspired a lifelong passion for technological innovation. From helping invent the first computer-based voice assistants to contributing to the birth of the ubiquitous smartphone — a real-world communicator and tricorder — Leonard Nimoy, through his portrayal of Spock, inspired the drive to explore and to turn imagination into reality. #NimoyKnightFoundation #RememberingLeonardNimoy #LLAPAward #LLAPTribute

1wRich Miner liked thisWhat an incredible day! Yesterday, the ClimateTech Incubator was proud to be a sponsor of the 4th Annual ClimateWork Maine Summit here in Portland. This year's theme said it all: it's not just about taking climate action — it's about owning that action. The room was filled with corporations, startups, policy makers, NGOs, and other leaders bringing a range of valuable perspectives to the conversation. We were joined by several of our CTI startups, including ATLAS, Buttercup, Bluesonde, Enodia Inc., Fable Forestry, HydroPhos Solutions, Renoster, Solen Works, Therm, and THOLA. A huge congrats to our member company, Bluesonde, for taking home the Climate Innovation Award! This recognition is so well-deserved, and we couldn't be prouder to have them in our incubator. We also want to give a special shoutout to Gunnar Hubbard, FAIA, LEED Fellow, co-founder of CTI member Solen Works, for taking the stage and sharing his perspective on how small businesses can borrow big-brand strategies. We left inspired and more committed than ever to do the work we do every day alongside our incredible community of founders and climate innovators. Big thanks to CLIMATEWORK MAINE for convening such a powerful group of changemakers. We're looking forward to next year's Summit! #ClimateWorkMaine #ClimateTech #ClimateAction #Sustainability #ClimateInnovation #Maine #GreenEconomy -

Rich Miner liked thisRich Miner liked thisExcited to announce that Hugo Barra, Nicholas Jitkoff and I are joining Meta Superintelligence Labs with the entire Dreamer team today. The last few months have been extraordinary: we built Dreamer, put the beta in the world just a month ago, and saw magic come to life for real people. Since then, thousands of people have used Dreamer to build personal, intelligent software with our Sidekick in the world’s newest and most popular programming language: English! They're building and sharing agents to manage email, calendar, and to-do’s, create learning tools for their kids, learn new languages, plan trips with friends, become better cooks, help them with work, achieve their health goals, or simply to creatively express themselves—all sorts of surprising and uniquely personal needs. These are agents as unique as the people building them, because they're built exactly the way each person wants them to be. We’ve captured some of our favorites at https://lnkd.in/gz8ZMxK2. What matters most here isn’t the early momentum; it’s what Dreamer has enabled people to do. People are building things they’ve wanted for years. They’re solving real, important problems no traditional software company would ever prioritize, because they’re too niche, too bespoke, too personal. What company would ever build for an “n of 1”? Our bet from the beginning has been that software should be personal, malleable, and shaped by the person using it. The constraint was never people’s imagination. It was the fact that building software is out of reach for most people. This early chapter gives us conviction that the idea resonates, the need is real, and the moment is now. Alexandr Wang was helpful to us from the very beginning, and when we showed Dreamer to Mark Zuckerberg and Nat Friedman earlier this year, it was clear right away that we share the same vision of the future: one where billions of people have the power to create software that makes their lives better. We’re thrilled to accelerate this mission by joining Meta Superintelligence Labs and licensing our technology to Meta. Read more at https://lnkd.in/gGEurCDj. Deeply grateful to our investors Jill (Greenberg) Chase and Nina Achadjian for supporting our vision for a more personal, creative, and intelligent future for software. Thank you for the trust, the thought partnership, and for being in our corner at every step. To everyone in our community who built with us: thank you. You've taught us what's possible, and you're the proof this works. We're so grateful, and we're just getting started!

Rich Miner liked thisProud to have hosted this gathering at the Roux Institute — bringing together educators, administrators, and clean energy leaders to take real action on sustainability in Maine schools. When the right people are in the room, things move. Looking forward to more of these! #RouxInstitute #ClimateTechIncubator #ClimateTech #MaineGreenSchools #ClimateAction #K12Education #MaineRich Miner liked thisLast week, I facilitated a workshop with a remarkable group of educators, school administrators, facilities professionals, nonprofit leaders, and clean energy industry representatives gathered at Northeastern University's Roux Institute in Portland for a three-hour working session on one question: how do we build practical sustainability action plans for Maine schools — and make them stick? Here is what we learned: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗽 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹. Only about 4% of U.S. school districts have a formal climate or sustainability policy on the books. With the average Maine superintendent tenure at just 4.1 years, progress is regularly lost when leadership changes. A written, measurable plan is the single most important tool for creating continuity. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝘀. Maine schools have more resources, more support, and more momentum than most districts realize — from some state supported consulting services, to the newly released Maine Community Action Grants (https://lnkd.in/eyqK3CMz) (up to $175K for district consortiums), to Efficiency Maine decarbonization planning incentives. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀. The most consistent theme of the day: the path to sustainable facilities runs through student engagement, community buy-in, and teacher empowerment — not the other way around. 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿. Hearing from RSU 1 and Mount Desert Island teachers who built full climate action policies by adapting existing templates and supporting each other monthly on Zoom — this is what scalable progress looks like. This was our first regional roundtable and we hope to provide more in an effort to accelerate the adoption of Sustainability Action Plans for Maine Schools. Many thanks to the ClimateTech Incubator at Northeastern University’s Roux Institute for hosting us as well as all the speakers, co-organizers and facilitators that made this event possible: Glenn Cummings, Ed.D., Leia Lowery, Gunnar Hubbard, FAIA, LEED Fellow, Amy Grommes Pulaski, Phil Coupe, Teddy Lyman, Peter Dugas and educators - Micah Depper (RSU1 Bath Middle School) , Ruth Poland (Mount Desert Island High School) and Melissa Luteje (Freeport High School) This event was sponsored by Solen Works in collaboration with Maine Dept of Education. #MaineGreenSchools #Sustainability #ClimateAction #K12Education #CleanEnergy #Maine, #SolenWorks

Rich Miner liked thisRich Miner liked thisA founder emailed me: she committed to Cursor, went heads down for 4 months, and shipped a healthcare platform with 400 users and 50 paying customers. 100% built with AI. Seasoned engineers keep telling her it's not possible. Investors are reluctant to fund it. I've watched this exact movie four times - the Internet was a toy, web software didn't work, the cloud wasn't safe, and mobile would never replace a computer. Steve Ballmer literally laughed at the iPhone on camera. Every time, both camps were wrong. The new thing doesn't replace the old thing. The old thing doesn't survive unchanged. New categories emerge that neither camp could describe. https://lnkd.in/gN_MD-rX

I spoke with Amplify Partners about Kyutai and Gradium, and more broadly about why voice is the modality where small, disciplined teams routinely outcompete larger organizations despite having far less compute and staff. The post goes into how we approached audio end-to-end, why we insisted early on full-duplex, real-time interaction, and how much of that came from tight iteration loops rather than scale. It also reflects on our culture, competition as a forcing function, and why having fewer people can actually make technical progress faster, not harder. No grand vision statements. Just how things were built, why certain bets were made early, and what it feels like to work at the edge of audio and interaction. If you’re interested in audio, voice, or small teams doing real systems work, this captures it well: https://lnkd.in/e8X_zmiP

The IBM/Confluent acquisition is a clear signal that real-time streaming is now foundational to enterprise AI. But it also raises a tough question: what happens when openness and independence become absorbed into a single vendor’s stack? If you're concerned about how this impacts you, I recommend this resource from Cloudera that explains the benefits of an independent, managed, containerized alternative: https://shorturl.at/LYcwD

ZaiNar • 6K followers
Last week we shared that ZaiNar had emerged from nine years of stealth. Today we’re sharing what we built. We’re announcing commercial availability of the first 5G location system that delivers sub-10cm accuracy using only the connectivity signals devices already transmit. Ranges up to 1.5 kilometers. Zero additional battery drain. No device software required. Here’s why this is a big deal for the telecom industry: carriers have invested billions in 5G infrastructure globally. With ZaiNar, those networks can now deliver highly accurate positioning services across every connected device - dramatically increasing the utility and ROI of those investments. Location services can be worth more than the connectivity itself. Our technology uses SRS - the connectivity signal every device transmits to maintain its network connection - and processes it at the network level. The result is sub-10cm positioning that works indoors, outdoors, through walls, on as little as 10 MHz of spectrum. This turns 5G from a faster pipe into genuine infrastructure for Physical AI - and it’s deployed and operating today across healthcare, construction, logistics, and smart cities. With MWC next week, we have much more to share. https://lnkd.in/ghVhYXvt #ZaiNar #5G #PhysicalAI #noGPS #MWC2026

From Measurement to Orchestration, with Pranav Piyush from Paramark.com In this week's Intelligent Marketer ep, Rishabh and I dug into the evolution of marketing measurement in a world where direct, click-based attribution has broken. The smartest marketing teams are building systems that triangulate incrementality testing + MMM results. Pranav discusses how getting this "central brain" right is a critical foundation for AI-driven orchestration & execution of an end-to-end marketing roadmap. Topics covered: - Policies, not dashboards: how to decode decisions as machine-readable rules that turn insights into actions - Confidence-weighted budgets: how to use error bars in lift/MMM results to drive budget reallocation - Latency-aware orchestration: how to incorporate daily platform signals vs weekly incrementality results vs quarterly MMM output - Creative as a portfolio: how to weight hit rate & EV alongside typical ROAS metrics - Constraint-aware bidding: how to bake margin, inventory, compliance, and brand safety costs into the decision function

For many SFR operators, Repair & Maintenance is viewed as a cost center. This mindset leaves NOI and resident satisfaction on the table. At Lessen, we know R&M is a strategic lever, and we have the data to prove it. Our proprietary research analyzes over 680,000 work orders across major SFR markets and reveals how the top operators are managing cost, speed, and quality. The results? Clear patterns that separate average operators from industry leaders and reveal where the biggest opportunities for improvement really lie. Operators with stronger data, scale, and preventative strategies are outperforming — and Lessen clients are realizing significant savings. 🔗 Explore the insights in Lessen's latest benchmarking case study: https://bit.ly/4pA99PO #SFR #PropertyManagement

For over a decade, AI promised to transform customer experience. But too often, businesses prioritized efficiency over empathy. The result? Faster responses, but colder interactions. In 2025, while we have record high AI adoption across industries Yet customer satisfaction continues to decline. At Nexiva, we’re taking a different approach to fill the gaps. Our AI doesn’t just automate tasks, it understands language, culture, and emotion. We’re creating conversations that build trust, not just speed.
