The accessibility of this technology has also never been greater, even to the smallest charities.

But with all the software, tools, apps and intelligence available to us, why has fundraising performance stagnated? Has technology actually gotten in the way of building a personal connection…

In some ways, we’re in a golden age of fundraising. There have never been more ways to capture attention, rally supporters, generate revenue, and measure fundraising performance than there are today. The accessibility of this technology has also never been greater, even to the smallest charities.

But with all the software, tools, apps and intelligence available to us, why has fundraising performance stagnated? Has technology actually gotten in the way of building a personal connection with our supporters?

In this book, we’ll explore ways to apply time-tested principles of philanthropy to the modern technology available to fundraisers — with the goal of keeping the donors we already have, inspiring new donors to give, and maintaining the sanity of our team members.

These are the critical, non-C-suite contributors who work the long hours and grind out the products and projects that propel business in Indiana forward. The Tech 25 comprises the people who don’t always get the recognition they deserve. We’re recognizing them now.

These 25 impressive individuals were nominated by executives within their companies for this honor. Then members of their networks were asked to write letters of recommendation for them. We were blown away by the responses and the strength of this inaugural class of Tech 25.

The class of Tech 25 were selected based their exceptional abilities, contribution to company success and commitment to enhancing their team and our tech community. We solicited candidates in three main categories: tech product builders, sales and marketing and an “other” category.
