We honored Abel’s incredible legacy through a memorial service across our facilities. His son and Batory’s CEO, Ron Friedman, shared a touching story of how Abel founded Batory Foods, reflecting on the values and spirit that Abel instilled in our organization. Following Ron’s heartfelt remarks, both former and current Batory teammates shared meaningful tributes about Abel. “Feeding people was Abel’s thing. Feeding people was his way of expressing appreciation for that person…it was his love language.” We’ll continue to honor his legacy through the work we do every day.
