Todd Sokolove shared thisIn the “It’s a Wonderful Life” school of every person having an impact on other people, I must credit Rob Reiner (or Stephen King?) with being a major factor in my career. Just out of college, I was feverishly searching for my entry-level role in film distribution, with resumes out at every major studio and production company. It was Castle Rock that first presented the opportunity—to work with the casting director on a movie called “Striptease” in New York City. That’s a whole other story, but it got me to New York from Michigan and lead to my early post-production gigs before falling in love with catalog IP marketing, first with Broadway Video and now at Paramount. He will be missed not only as a prolific filmmaker and actor, but general all-around mensch. https://lnkd.in/g8Tq8CB5

A huge thank you to everyone involved in bringing our very first Paramount AT HOME UPFRONT to life at The Soho Hotel in central London. The afternoon brought together customers from across the market for an exciting first look at our upcoming Home Entertainment slate, featuring a packed presentation, exclusive insights, and never-before-seen footage showcased in the hotel's private screening room. The event was designed to celebrate not just the films, but the entire at-home entertainment experience. Guests were welcomed with branded touches throughout, including: 📸 A custom movie-themed photobooth 🍸 Character-inspired welcome cocktails from Sonic 4 🍴 A bespoke canapé menu inspired by our upcoming releases 🎟️ Movie posters displayed across the venue ⭐ Take-home character stickers featuring titles from our slate The feedback from customers was overwhelmingly positive, and seeing the excitement and engagement in the room confirmed exactly why we wanted to create this event. For a first-ever edition, we're incredibly proud of what was delivered and, judging by the love we received yesterday, we're confident this will be the first of many events to come.
