Loved ones are lost, friends come and go, and opportunities slip through our fingers. Each of us have struggled greatly in some form or another over the last couple years. And it can be hard not to let things get to you. But despite it all, we’re still here. Sharing in this opportunity to experience all of the wonderful things that life provides. In the grand scheme of things, we have such little time to experience and explore the world, discover new places, listen to new music, and to read new books. To learn to skills. Try new things. Face our fears. To forgive. To forget. To let things go. And to savor all the moments with friends, family, and strangers we meet along the way. It’s incumbent on each of us to make the most of our time, despite the struggles, hardships, and failures we meet along the way. For one day we will experience our last breath and journey off to whatever comes next. So better off, it seems, to be grateful for all of it. The good. The bad. And all the in betweens. William Balcazar liked thisWilliam Balcazar liked thisI bought my first home today… and you know what I almost did? I almost didn’t take the whole day off. Closing on a home only takes an hour or two and work is really busy right now, so I originally thought to myself, “I’ll work around it and celebrate on my way back to my computer.” And then I realized how ridiculous it would be for me not to soak up every single minute of one of the biggest days of my life. So you know what I ACTUALLY did? I took the whole day off of work just to take this moment in. I had nothing special to do today (except make it to the closing table), so I made my entire day about celebration, gratitude, and joy. Here’s a list of the things I did today (instead of work) to make it special: - I rented a car for the day (just because) - I splurged on my favorite holiday coffee - I took a trip to Home Depot just for inspiration (one of a thousand trips, I am certain) - I took a trip to Target just to walk around(one of ten thousand trips, I am even more certain) - I went to a flooring store to dream out some new floors - I ate at my favorite spot for lunch - I called my family - I called my friends - I sprawled out on my new living room floor and stared at the ceiling for an hour - I ate pizza on my dining room floor - I meandered through my new home imagining what each room would become Take more time off of work. Soak up this life. We’re only here for a short time.

Prepare journal entries and perform month end reconciliation. Perform daily reporting activities. Work with our 3rd party CPA firm to ensure all financial aspects of the operation are handled according with industry best practices Compile and help analyze data from multiple sources Will be expected to work collaboratively across departments to resolve issues and craft solutions. Will work with ownership and management team to create best practices Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Strong written and verbal communication skills Analytical presentation and problem solving skills Ability to operate independently without close supervision Ability to meet month-end deadlines. Willingness and ability to grow and scale functional capabilities Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Knowledge of Restaurant365 accounting platform would be preferred but not required.
