Zeb Evans reposted thisZeb Evans reposted thisI have made almost every mistake worth making, when pushing for AI adoption in an enterprise. Most of the hard part is not building the AI. It is making it hold once a real company depends on it. We do not have that fully solved yet, but here is an honest year of iterating and rebuilding. Fires and all.

Zeb Evans reposted thisZeb Evans reposted thisI always fall for a good story. Recently I've been up too late reading ours, straight from the Company Brain. Every decision is a movie in Brain², check this one out... Years ago we put every tool, and all our context in one place. Started as cost savings and less toggle tax. Then, AI showed up and it got wild... Because we did the context engineering early, we might be one of the very few teams at scale with a live Company Brain. Sarah Guo said the untrainable part is your private context, the value sitting inside your company's history. True, no model can produce this depth of decision trace without a context engine built to scale with complexity. Turns out the best story we had was our own. Now we are bringing it to the world. Meet Brain² https://clickup.com/brain ClickUp 💫

Zeb Evans shared thisThe 100x org went viral. Here's the AI behind it. You saw the tweet. 4,200 agents. 1,100 humans. 4:1 agent-to-human ratio. Output up. Costs down. 50M+ impressions. Half the internet had opinions. The other half just asked how. Today I'm releasing the how. It wasn't more tokens. It wasn't a better model. It was CONTEXT. Every AI tool has the same fatal flaw: it wakes up stupid. You explain your company, your project, your team. Every. Single. Time. Then you do it again tomorrow. Brain² wakes up briefed. Same frontier models as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini. Radically different results. We benchmarked it head-to-head. Brain² won nearly 100% of the time. Not because the model is better. Because the CONTEXT is. At runtime, Brain² dynamically injects everything: your activity, your decisions, your projects, your memory, your preferences. All structured. All compressed. All real-time. Assembled in milliseconds before the model even starts generating. When AI has 100% context, you don't need prompts. You need INTENT. I go anywhere in ClickUp and say "@brain slides." One word. Done. Brain² REMEMBERS everything. Every interaction compounds. Every correction teaches it. Memory scales exponentially across your entire org. One Brain for your whole team. Every person makes it smarter for everyone else. I flew our AI team to my house for a week to finish this. Monitors and whiteboards everywhere. Engineers competing to ship the most cutting-edge improvements. I know you're skeptical. Just try it. Run it against whatever you're using now. Brain² wins. Every time. Brain² is live TODAY → clickup.com/brain 💜 Let's make the world more productive

Zeb Evans shared thisMark Zuckerberg is building an AI agent to help him be CEO. I've been doing this for MONTHS. Here are the agents I use DAILY as CEO of 1,300+ employees. 👇

Zeb Evans shared thisI built an AI agent that delivers me the newspaper. How freaking IRONIC. But it's the one that saves me the MOST TIME. I turned all of my push notifications OFF, except for my Digests Super Agent. I stopped reading emails. 1,035 unread. I stopped reading chat messages. 4,302 unread. My Digest agent compresses everything I need to know across my entire 1,300+ person company into a format my brain actually processes easily. A newspaper. It pulls from my email, channels, tasks, and dashboards, distilling everything important into themed digests every couple of hours. This allows me to stay in founder mode at scale even though I get hundreds of notifications a day. Most of us drown in information. The way to scale is COMPRESSING and DIGESTING only what matters. And making it something you will ACTUALLY read. Anyone else done something like this?!

Zeb Evans shared thisWhat's the real moat in AI? It's not your model. It's not your inference. It's your HUMANS. Human engagement. Human feedback. I break it down in this video 🍿

Zeb Evans liked thisZeb Evans liked thisYour AI agents now work where your thinking happens: Docs. @mention any Super Agent in a Doc comment and it responds right in the thread. But here's what makes it actually useful: Text-anchored context. Highlight a passage, mention your agent, and it knows exactly what "this" refers to. No re-pasting, no "see paragraph 3." Inline reviews. Ask an agent to review a document and it posts multiple comments anchored to specific text, like a human collaborator doing a proper edit pass. Same resolve/reply workflow. Docs are no longer a blind spot for your agents.

Zeb Evans liked thisZeb Evans liked thisI recently made a significant change to the way I organize my work: I moved from Notion to ClickUp. I now use ClickUp to manage my workflows, daily tasks, weekly planning, follow-ups, and ongoing projects. Although I'm still exploring everything the platform offers, my first impression has been very positive. What stands out is that ClickUp does much more than help you create tasks and monitor progress. It brings planning, project management, documents, automation, and AI assistance onto one connected workspace. One of the features I've recently started using is ClickUp Brain. I've already created two Super Agents, and I was surprised by how simple the setup process was. You define what you want the agent to help with, provide its instructions, and ClickUp guides you through the remaining steps. I'm only at the beginning, but I can already see the potential for using these agents to support recurring tasks, improve follow-ups, organize information, and make workflows more efficient. Changing productivity platforms can require some adjustment, but so far, moving from Notion to CickUps feels like the right decision for me. I'll share more as I continue testing the platform and discover how its AI capabilities fit into my everyday work. Curious to explore ClickUp, ClickUp Brain, and Super Agents? I've added the link in the comments. 👇️ P.S. Have you tried ClickUp? What has your experience been?

Zeb Evans liked thisZeb Evans liked thisSuper Agents in ClickUp can now access private Custom Fields: salary bands, deal values, internal scores, whatever you've locked down. Here's what makes it work: You control everything. Share individual private fields with specific agents from the same Custom Field Manager you already use. Set granular permissions: can edit, can set, or view-only. The field owner decides exactly what each agent sees. The result: enterprises can finally build agents against their most valuable data.

Zeb Evans liked thisZeb Evans liked thisThink you've outgrown ClickUp? Think again. We're on ClickUp 4.0 right now, and there have been so many smaller updates in between. From Brain to Superagents, subfolders to date remapping, ClickUp are always bringing out new features. The hard part is keeping up. If you're starting to feel like you've outgrown the platform, I can tell you for certain... You haven't. You've probably just outgrown how it was set up. As your team grows, your business grows, your processes change, your ClickUp needs to be updated to reflect that. There's no reason to overhaul your build completely every few months, but small updates here and there will make a huge difference.

Zeb Evans liked thisZeb Evans liked thisOoooh yeah! ClickUp Super Agents now have MCP! Connect them to your CRM, create new ClickUp tasks from new deals... this is huge! For me, my first connection is going to be with GitHub. 1. Write newsletter in a ClickUp Doc 2. Super Agent formats to my site's markdown template 3. Commits to the GitHub repo 4. Vercel deploys live Newsletter/blog content goes straight to my site without me having touch a line of code!

Zeb Evans liked thisZeb Evans liked thisSo today I can honestly confirm I have an obsession with ClickUp's layout. I've always been a fan of how discords server setup is and I think this is a more of what I need. No more spending countless hours trying to figure out where I put a file or folder. I'm possibly late to the party but man am I happy to finally be a part of it! 2 more things to add to my research and development folder study I lock back in on the videos.

Zeb Evans liked thisZeb Evans liked thisThis is Will Frattini - he's been at ZoomInfo for 12 years - last month he closed a mid-six figure growth deal with a Fortune 1000 company - even when faced with the threat of everything moving to AI. Will found out that one of his largest customers was moving to Google Gemini - and all the GTM team was going to operate out of it - so he did 4 things right: 1. He built a 2-track deal for them around Gemini. Instead of pitching against the move, he brought them 2 paths: keep running ZoomInfo Copilot as software, or go headless - our data and context flowing straight into Gemini through the ZoomInfo MCP. 2. He got the buyer to build his own business case. A 3-month GTM Studio pilot - audiences and agentic workflows on their real accounts - meant that when it came time to decide, the CIO was looking at results based on his own data. 3. He found the skeptic and matched him with the right messenger. All big deals have skeptics. Will figured out exactly who they were and then brought in an exec with the relationship and made it EASY for our exec. 4. He broke the deal into 2 parts so "we need more time" couldn't kill it. When legal review dragged, he split the contract: 222 ZoomInfo Copilot licenses signed June 30, GTM Studio on a 90-day good-faith POC while review continued. The licenses solved an immediate outbound need for their AEs today. The MCP work makes the enterprise-wide Gemini transition easier tomorrow. Notice none of these strategies are new: 2 options instead of 1; proof instead of promises; the right person delivering the message; and a contract that keeps moving. Will just put everything into practice! 12 years in, he’s still teaching the rest of us how it's done! Let’s go Big Dog!!

Why San Francisco Still Holds the Startup Magic San Francisco’s fog isn’t just weather—it’s the veil over endless possibilities. Despite rising costs and remote work trends, the city’s ecosystem remains uniquely fertile for startups. It’s the palpable energy in coworking spaces, spontaneous coffee chats, and street-level networking that fosters serendipitous breakthroughs. Innovation thrives where diversity and disruption collide. The Bay Area’s rich blend of cultures, ideas, and risk-taking mentality fuels creativity in ways no algorithm can replicate. For every tech unicorn born here, countless smaller ventures quietly reshape industries and lives. Let’s not forget: that magic is built by the community—investors, mentors, engineers, and dreamers who believe in building the future together. #SanFranciscoStartups #InnovationCulture #TechEcosystem #StartupLife #EntrepreneurCommunity #SiliconValleyMagic #DiversityInTech #Collaboration

Clay didn’t build a $100M SaaS business overnight. They followed a new GTM playbook most SaaS teams can replicate. Here’s what happened 👇 Clay spent ~5 years experimenting with product + positioning. Growth was modest. Messaging was broad. Adoption was uneven. Then came the pivot - the moat moment. Around 2022, Clay: • Narrowed its ICP to GTM teams • Rebuilt messaging around real workflows • Defined a new role: the GTM Engineer That identity change mattered more than any feature. From there, growth exploded — reportedly going from ~$1M ARR to ~$100M ARR in ~2 years. What Clay did differently (and what SaaS teams should learn): 1️⃣ Lead with identity, not features Clay didn’t sell “automation.” They sold a career advantage for GTM Engineers. 2️⃣ Build for outputs people want to share Workflows, dashboards, prospecting systems → users post them publicly. The product markets itself. 3️⃣ Use AI as real leverage Not “AI-powered” fluff. AI that removes hours of manual GTM work: research, enrichment, personalization. 4️⃣ Community > campaigns Creators, operators, and users became the distribution engine. Education beat ads. 5️⃣ PLG first, sales second Clay lands with one operator → expands across teams → scales enterprise. Bottom line: Clay won because they narrowed down a niche/ICP and aligned positioning + product + community — not because they outspent competitors. The pivot finds product–market fit. The moat forms when focus, workflows, and distribution compound. #GoToMarket #GTMStrategy #RevenueGrowth #ProductLedGrowth #RevOps #B2BSaaS

➡️ Great GTM performance starts with alignment and ends with accountability. When we implement GTM controlling, it’s not just about dashboards and KPIs. It’s about structuring expectations across every role, every motion, and every segment. And then building systems that flag when something breaks out of that structure. Here’s how we do it: 1️⃣ We define expected behavior for each motion (AE, BDR, CS, etc.) 2️⃣ We build dashboards that track conversion rates, deal movement, time in stage, and last activity... 3️⃣ We set up escalation workflows, from IC to team lead to GTM leadership 4️⃣ We ensure RevOps owns the process, and CROs use the data to steer As a result: GTM teams operate with clarity, performance deviations are immediately visible, Sales excellence becomes a process. Performance management is about enabling trustworthy data, reliable forecasting, and real accountability across the org. What's your take on this? #GTM #PerformanceManagement #RevOps #SalesExcellence #RevenueGrowth #SaaS

The real edge isn’t using new tools, it’s integrating them faster than anyone else. In this episode, Eric Jorgenson, CEO of Scribe Media, explains how top builders aren’t just “trying out” new tech; they’re rebuilding their workflows around it. Software engineers adopted Copilot and never looked back. Operators like John Divine weren’t just early adopters, they reorganized their teams around language models before most people even logged in. The biggest shift? Founders now see scale as the default, not the dream, because they’re working with tools that multiply their output. → How far have you restructured your organization to take advantage of what’s already here? #TechFluency #OperationalLeverage #WorkflowDesign #TheAIReport

You can buy clicks. You can’t buy trust. Most agencies chase new leads while at JellyLogic, 90% of our business comes from referrals. Why? Because we treat client success as the only real marketing channel. 📊 Our CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) consistently sits at 95%+. Not because everything is perfect, but because of how we handle the imperfect. - We’re transparent when things go wrong. - We educate clients, so decisions are data-driven, not blind trust. - We stay post-delivery — not just to support, but to ensure impact. And this creates a compounding loop: 👉 Delighted clients → Referrals → More delighted clients → Stronger brand equity. Here’s the truth most founders miss: Trust compounds faster than capital. You can always run ads and buy attention. But you can’t buy a client’s recommendation. That’s why we’ve made referrals our north star. Because when your customers become your sales team, you’ve built something bigger than growth — you’ve built trust at scale. #startupstories #CSAT #success

The Builder, the Fixer, and the Scaler.. Before you start a search for your next Sales Leader, you need to answer one question honestly: Are you hiring a Builder, a Fixer, or a Scaler? And confusing them is one of the most expensive mistakes I see funds make repeatedly. Here's how to diagnose which one your portco actually needs: 1. The Builder The Builder's job is to find the pattern in early wins and turn it into a process. What they look like on the ground: They've done it before at a company that had nothing. They have opinions on how to build a territory, a comp plan, a playbook before anyone hands them one. 2. The Fixer The Fixer's job isn't to build something new. It's to figure out what's actually wrong and operate in the mess long enough to clean it up. What they look like in the room: They've inherited a org mid-collapse and stabilized it and comfortable not having answers on day one. They ask harder questions than most people are willing to answer. Now if you hire a Builder here, they might ignore what exists, start over, create new chaos inside old chaos. six months of motion with no real progress and the board starts asking questions. 3. The Scaler The Scaler's job is to operationalize and multiply. The playbook is written and their job is execution, coverage, and speed. What they look like in the room: They've taken a working system from a small team to a large one without breaking what made it work. they talk about ramp time, enablement, and forecast hygiene. If you hire the Scaler before the system is actually clean. they try to pour process onto a foundation that isn't solid. Things break faster than before and now you have a Scaler problem on top of the original problem. So, Before you touch a single resume: - Does a repeatable motion exist? - If yes, is it working or just creating noise? - How many leaders churned and what actually happened? - What's broken: pipeline, conversion, or both? The answers tell you the archetype. Then go find someone whose career has scar tissue that matches that exact environment.

Episode 2 of B2B Sales Blueprint is live — and this one gave me a new mental model I haven’t stopped thinking about. XQ. We’ve all heard IQ. Then EQ. But Luke Williams introduced a third one: XQ – exponential curiosity. The people who win in this next era of sales won’t just be smart. They’ll be the ones who stay curious fastest. The ones who test new tools. Rethink old habits. Learn in real time. And adapt before everyone else does. That really stuck with me. Because AI isn’t just changing workflows. It’s changing the gap between average and exceptional. The best reps will use it to move faster, coach better, and execute at a much higher level. The rest will feel that gap widen. That was one of a lot of strong moments in this conversation. We also got into: • what changes when you move from SMB to enterprise sales • why methodology and qualification frameworks are not the same thing • how AI is changing deal inspection and coaching • what actually makes events and outbound work • lessons from building revenue teams across APAC and the US A really practical episode for anyone building or leading a sales team right now.
