He architected the whole thing around MCP while selling CLI purity to the timeline. Codex and Claude code are eating MCP tools for breakfast, OpenClaw is now both the CLI king and the new MCP hub, and the same crowd declaring MCP dead is retweeting his announcement like it’s not the ultimate plot twist.
