For everyone affected by the layoffs at Block, I'm sorry you're going through this. We at Shakepay are fans of what you've built. We're pursuing a similar mission for Canadians, and we know firsthand how much craft goes into building seamless financial tools. We have multiple engineering roles open and I'm happy to speak with anyone curious about the opportunities.
And me, I'm hiring the person that build the Agentic AI that could allow firing 50% of the staff
Sid P. would be a fantastic addition to the engineering team, Roy Breidi
I can connect you with some of the best engineers I know from block, from Vancouver. I don’t know that all of them are looking for immediate positions but I will send you some names Roy.
Hope many talented folks from Block find strong next chapters!
Roy Breidi Layoffs are rough. No sugarcoating it.
