Jared Jacobs’ Post

When you want to cook Italian at home, a few iconic brands come to mind. But what about Indian? Despite being one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing cuisines, the at-home Indian category has long lacked a premium, category-defining brand. Gymkhana Fine Foods is changing that. Created by the team behind London’s two-Michelin-starred Gymkhana, Gymkhana Fine Foods brings that same culinary authority to the grocery aisle — rooted in tradition, defined by quality, and built to deliver restaurant-caliber Indian flavor at home. CAVU Consumer Partners is thrilled to deepen its partnership with Gymkhana Fine Foods and lead its $8.5M Series A as the brand expands into the U.S. with a nationwide launch at Whole Foods Market. Excited to keep having fun building with Gulrez, Jyotin, Karam, JKS Restaurants, and the entire GFF team!

The best jarred sauces i've ever had - Gulrez and team are best in class. Excited to watch you all re-shape center store together. Huge congrats brother.

Next level! Congrats to the CAVU & Gymkhana teams. Sauce is 🔥

Jared, congratulations on the Gymkhana round — CAVU continues to identify category winners early. The premium South Asian shelf is one of the most under-built in U.S. grocery, and the Whole Foods rollout is exactly the right wedge. We see allocator interest in defensible, founder-led consumer platforms accelerating across the institutional capital landscape. Excited to follow what you build with the team.

The Indian cuisine category has been waiting for a brand with this kind of culinary authority behind it. Fascinating that it took a London Michelin kitchen to build what could become the definitive at-home Indian brand in the US, and potentially reclaim that same position back in Europe through digital channels. Excited to watch this one grow

Two Michelin stars to Whole Foods shelves is such a specific kind of brand authority that no amount of marketing budget can manufacture 🙌🏼 Indian cuisine finally getting its premium at-home moment in the US is long overdue and Gymkhana is probably the only name with enough culinary credibility to actually pull it off 🎯
