The X7C+ is getting noticed. 👀 D5 Mag recently took a closer look at the X7C+ and the thinking behind its award-winning design, from its 3D-printed lattice padding to its lightweight, low-profile construction. It’s great to see the design and technology behind the X7C+ continue to earn recognition as we get closer to launch. I’m continuing to explore lattice-based headgear concepts using sphereneNXT to generate the internal architecture. This version is being printed on my Bambu P1S using Siraya Tech Flex TPU Air, an active-foaming TPU filament. The initial print quality is encouraging, but I know there is still room to improve the consistency and surface finish. Has anyone else worked with foaming TPU filament? I would appreciate any recommendations for dialing in nozzle temperature, flow rate, print speed, retraction, wall thickness, or other settings that made a noticeable difference. The printed material is also considerably stiffer than I expected. If anyone has experience with a softer foaming TPU or another lightweight, flexible filament appropriate for experimental headgear prototypes, I’d be interested to hear what has worked for you. #sphereneNXT #3DPrinting #TPU #AdditiveManufacturing #HelmetDesign #Prototyping

The fingers get the attention. The packaging deserves a closer look. This Xynova Flex 2 cutaway rendering shows the arrangement of mechanisms inside the forearm. It is an architectural visualization, not a performance test. Compact actuation creates a practical design conversation: where the mechanisms fit, how motion reaches the fingers, and how the assembly can be accessed. For teams integrating dexterous hands, which constraint comes first in your design: available space, mass, or service access? Clean face. Clean color. No trimcap competing with the letter shape. These front-lit channel letters use UV-printed faces with a trimless construction for a sharper, more streamlined look. The raceway keeps the mounting practical, while the letters stay clean from the front. It's a simple way to offer a cleaner channel letter style without changing the basic installation approach. Would you offer trimless letters when a client wants a cleaner, more minimal finish? #ChannelLetters #TrimlessLetters #UVPrinting #SignFabrication #signshop

What can metal AM bring to a fantasy world? We turned a small dragon into a metal model designed for different poses and expressions. What makes it interesting isn't just the appearance — it's how much detail and movement can be preserved in a compact metal part. What would you design if geometry were not a limitation? 👉 Learn more: https://www.snowx.com/ #SnowX #SnowPod #metalprinting #metal3dprinting #3dprinting #AdditiveManufacturing

🚀 Back to the future…Denford style. We’ve been digging through the Denford archives and uncovered some fantastic product literature from the 1980s. And it is 'very' 1980s. Bold graphics and space-age styling...reminiscent of sci-fi blockbusters of the time. 🛸 At the time, this wasn’t simply design for design’s sake. CNC and computer-controlled manufacturing really did feel like the future. Fast-forward more than 40 years and the graphics may have changed, but the principle hasn’t. We’re still designing and manufacturing technology that helps the next generation learn the skills they’ll need for the future of engineering and manufacturing. Anyone else remember technical brochures looking like this? #Denford #CNC #Manufacturing #Engineering #EngineeringHistory #1980s #RetroDesign #STEM #MadeInBritain #Throwback

3D Laser Cutting for Spun Lighting Parts|Precision on Curved Surfaces A spun lighting part is no longer a simple round surface once it needs holes, slots or precise edge profiles. 3D laser cutting makes it possible to process these features directly on curved and formed surfaces, keeping the cutting geometry consistent with the part design. From spinning to 3D cutting, the right secondary process can make complex lighting components much easier to manufacture. #3DLaserCutting #LaserCutting #MetalSpinning #SpunParts #LightingManufacturing #LightingComponents #SheetMetalFabrication #MetalFabrication #LaserProcessing #PrecisionManufacturing #CNCManufacturing #IndustrialManufacturing

🔥 NEW BLC DESIGN for SATO CL4NX PLUS— Thick Labels Are No Longer a Challenge! What if your labels are too thick for conventional inspection setups? Now, that’s no longer a problem. 💥 📏We’re excited to introduce BLC’s newly designed adjustable bracket for the SATO CL4NX PLUS, Designed for both standard and thick labels, it gives you the flexibility to adjust the inspection camera precisely—even for labels up to 3 mm thick. 📏 Up to 3 mm thick? — No problem.🏷️ Standard labels? — No problem.🔧 Different label thicknesses? — Adjust and inspect. With the adjustable design, the inspection camera can be precisely positioned to accommodate different label types, making the BLC solution more flexible for diverse printing applications. This is more than just a bracket upgrade. It’s another step forward in making BLC easier to adapt, easier to install, and capable of handling more challenging label applications. 🚀 🎥 Check out the video and see the new design in action! How accurate is Zip Stick? We put it to the test. Five Zip Stick models were independently calibrated across 25 measurement checkpoints. The result? 25 checks. 25 passes. ✅ Each tested sample met the technical requirements of the JJG 4-2015 Level II measuring standard, demonstrating independently tested accuracy across the models evaluated. Zip Stick combines that tested accuracy with a flexible design built for measuring long distances, curves, and surfaces where traditional measuring tools can be difficult to use. Flexible by design. Tested for accuracy. #ZipStick #VictorTechnology #MeasuringTools #Measurement #ProductTesting #Accuracy
