There’s something about seeing your brand in the pages of Saltscapes that hits different. I was raised by the sea in Prince Edward Island. Fishing culture wasn’t a backdrop, it was the whole world. Great seafood wasn’t just food; it was how we gathered, how we celebrated, how we took care of each other. So to open Saltscapes Canada’s East Coast magazine and find Nice Cans in their “Exciting new flavours for summer” feature? That’s a full-circle moment I don’t take lightly. 🐟 This is the coast that made me. The same waters, the same way of life, the same belief that food sourced with care tastes better and means more. Every Nice Cans tin carries a little of that with it — MSC-certified, chef-crafted, and made the way I’d make it in my own kitchen, because that’s exactly where every recipe starts. We’re growing fast right now across Canada, into the US, and over to the UK this summer. But moments like this are the ones that remind me why. Not the doors or the markets, but the story. The roots. The people who recognize what East Coast food can be when you refuse to cut corners. Thank you, Saltscapes, for the love. And to everyone who’s championed this bold little brand from day one youre the reason these cans keep landing on shelves. The drama stays inside the can. The pride? That’s all over my face this week. 💛 Pick up the May/June issue if you can. And if you spot us on a shelf, send a pic, iynever gets old. #TinnedFish #CanadianBusiness #FoundersJourney #EastCoast #SustainableSeafood #WomenInBusiness #NiceCans
