Hey, City Harvest, welcome to Farm to People. There's an online farmers market grocery delivery service here in New York City. We're getting thousands and thousands of pounds of hundreds of crops every single week. And so some of our food was ending up in compost and that was disappointing to us. Our partnership with City Harvest is to really make sure that all of that amazingly edible and nutritious food doesn't end up in waste but goes to nourishing families. Today, what we're loading up the City Harvest truck with his eggplant zucchini, some stone fruit City harvested and brings that to one of their. Many, many points across the city for people to enjoy. The majority of what we're donating is fresh produce coming from our local suppliers. Folks like Sun Sprout Farm, Halal Pastures, Suzuki Farm. These are farmers within 100 miles of New York City, and we think folks like City Harvest play an incredibly important role in taking that local food and making sure that it ends up in a home for someone to enjoy and be nourished by.
