This one's been in the works for a while and I'm glad it's finally out there. AG1 is joining Tony's Open Chain as a Mission Ally. Quick context for anyone new to Open Chain: We spent over a decade building a cocoa sourcing model that actually works. We’re talking farm-level traceability, living income premiums for farmers, on-farm support, all independently verified. A few years ago, we made the decision to break the #1 rule in business and open it up. Some would say that’s our USP and we need to gatekeep it at all costs, not us. Because the whole point of Tony's Chocolonely was never to be the only ethical chocolate company. It was to make the unethical way of doing it obsolete. We've got Ben & Jerry's, Feastables, Aldi, and now AG1 on the chain. Different industries, different products, same principle: You can't claim quality if you don't know where your ingredients come from or what they cost the people who grew them.
Love to see this!! I wish every kids brand that uses chocolate also had this. But to your point, an unethical way shouldn't even be an option. Keep up the great work. I will now be a customer 😊
And you know what, weirdly I have a bag of AG1 and a couple of bars of Tony's siting next to each other in my pantry cupboard..........
Congrats to both AG1 and TOC! I’m so happy to see this!
« You can’t claim quality if you don’t know where your ingrédients come from or what they cost the people who grew them » One of the TOC key principles sustainable sourcing. What a summary Dusan Vujovic 👏👍🙏 Well done💪👍
Two favorites making a difference here! 👊🏼🎉
you're collecting all the big names!
As Jake Karls famously says : LFG!!!!!! So amazing !!
Amazing work, congratulations
Some huge players - I'm excited to watch it grow!
Dusan Vujovic This is what a compelling vision can do. When the goal is bigger than being the one who wins, sharing what you’ve learned stops looking like giving away your advantage and starts looking like advancing the mission.
