Everything happening in health & wellness right now. 💪 📰 Apple is reportedly exploring a screenless wearable. Ritual targets perimenopause with new supplement. Salomon signs five-year The IRONMAN Group deal. Nike launches Jordan strength equipment. Eight Sleep debuts Gen 6 AI-powered sleep system. Neko Health opens its first US clinic in NYC. [solidcore] announces heated strength format. Hale launches preventative heart health platform. Mira launches urine-based at-home cortisol test. Walmart partners on co-branded Medicare plans. GRAIL’s cancer blood test nears FDA approval. Peloton Interactive launched new Tread models, WHOOP integration. Pvolve, Jennifer Aniston launch strength x longevity program.

Consumers: “Can the wellness industry please just relax for a second?” Wellness brands: “Anyway, here is a screenless wearable, a heated strength format, and an at-home cortisol test.”

apple making a screenless wearable while eight sleep needs an app and mira needs your pee and ritual needs you to remember perimenopause exists so basically apple is betting that if they remove the screen people will stop checking their stats obsessively and actually live their lives which is hilarious because thats the opposite of what the wellness industry wants

Interesting timing – I was just reading HFA’s latest Global Report and had exactly this thought. So many of these moves point in the same direction: prevention, healthy ageing, personalization and measurable health increasingly coming together with technology. A lot of opportunity opening up here.

Thanks for including Mira, Anthony. It’s exciting to see hormone monitoring in the wider conversation about where consumer health is heading.
