If I were the CEO, I would have fired the senior on the spot. That behavior isn't acceptable. Either you say you don't want to mentor a Junior, or you help the junior understand what went wrong. Teaching understanding of problems that way is not the solution.
I was never like that as a junior 🤷🏻♀️I solved my problems by myself
Actually the numbers are not shifting like that, it should be -1 for junior while +10 for senior. Initially there was a problem that needed to be fixed, obviously junior made it worse. Now senior needs to flgure everything out including the original bug and all the mess junior has caused. Because senior should also show and explain all the problems and a good way to solve the bug so junior can learn.

What is an actual message of such videos? 🤔
I see the opportunity to coach and mentor this Junior, it’s not w problem, it’s opportunity to grow someone in your team.
I had a senior who was a very talented person in Afghanistan. Whenever I came across challenging situations, he always encouraged me to search, think, and find solutions on my own. Following this advice made me much stronger and more confident over time. I am truly thankful to Mr. Qasim Burhan for his guidance and mentorship.
It happened, but it's no big deal, everything comes with experience.
Once you review a junior's codebase, It'll automatically be your additional problem again because the idea: Lemme help him to resolve this minor issue first 🤧.
No Juniors no seniors
