The Future of Multilateralism Panel - Take 2! Presented by the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University. After the worst snow storm to hit DC in decades came in and shut down our nation's capital for an entire week, our rescheduled panel is back on, taking place this Weds, Feb 18, at 12pm in the Elliott School building, Room 505. Open to all students and the general public. (Please sign up through the RSVP link in the comments.) My colleagues and I had a very special opportunity to meet with nearly two-dozen multilateral organizations and adjacent embassies, diplomats, and NGOs this past summer in Geneva. We will discuss what we heard (** which believe it or not, was * not * all doom and gloom **) and share our top takeaways re: the future of the multilateral system, international law and accountability, and world order. Yes, we are at a major inflection point for the post-WWII system. That makes showing up and engaging that much more important. I hope to see you there.
