Excited for a deep dive workshop this afternoon with a manufacturing client who: 1) Needs a cost effective solution to clean up and standardize their data estate. They are starting their journey using Microsoft Fabric and would like to ensure they have their data properly organized so it can be leveraged for AI use cases. 2) They are interested in a maintenance digital assistant to help validate and optimize preventative maintenance schedules (i.e., how do we identify over and under maintained assets, reduce non value add work orders, improve uptime and resource allocation). The 2nd use case will require data ingestion from a variety of data sources, so we'll need to ensure we have a proper architecture and approach to ingest the data and provide a great user experience to the client's resources who will be using the solution. The manufacturing vertical is an incredibly interesting space to be working in, given the investment we're seeing in US companies and the amount of data these organizations produce. Excited to see how we can partner with Microsoft and this organization to see how we can make a measurable impact in their operations.

With the advent of Microsoft Agent Framework, the time of Semantic Kernel is officially over. And since it is building on MEAI, it supports Amazon #Bedrock from day one (via AWSSDK.Extensions.Bedrock.MEAI). This also seems to be the end of self-made frameworks (like my AgentDo). I really like how easy it is to serialize/deserialize history and to implement human-in-the-loop for tool use. https://lnkd.in/eDx8VCqE
