Still fighting- #openIllinois In our current Case, we have asked for discovery, so the Governor to provide his numbers and the science in which he is ruling. We have been stonewalled and delayed by their team. It is a tactic being used in hopes we will run out of funding, and drop our case, not based on argument, but on financials. we are hoping that the Judge will force his hand. While we wait, we have filed an appeal to the state's Supreme Court Right now, we are asking for a fair trial- free of politics. Our hopes are that we will be given one based on the law and due process. We feel our team has made strong arguments in every hearing, and are confident in a victory. In order to do so, we need the Supreme Court to make this ruling and take this case. Foxfire is not just doing this for themselves, a win will be something that will help Moms and Pops, small businesses, and so forth more than any stimulus check or pppl would. A win will also keep the Governor from doing this again, abusing our state's constitution and overreaching based on politics. Giving a voice and hope back to the people of Illinois. And what better timing than the holiday season to do so.
