AI isn’t replacing interior designers. It’s redefining how we design. From early concept to final execution, AI has become a powerful tool in our creative process. Here’s how we use AI in interior design today: • Concept visualization: turning ideas into realistic visuals before a single material is ordered • Mood boards & styles: exploring multiple design directions faster and smarter • Space planning: testing layouts and proportions with data-backed precision • Client alignment: fewer surprises, clearer expectations, better decisions The goal isn’t automation. The goal is clarity, creativity, and confidence for both designer and client. Design will always be human-led. AI just helps us see the possibilities sooner. This is only the beginning. Most clients don’t struggle with design decisions… They struggle with visualizing the final result. One of the biggest challenges builders, designers, and event professionals face is helping clients feel confident saying yes before construction or installation begins. That’s where 3D visualization becomes a game changer. Recently, I worked on a project where the client had difficulty understanding layout flow, scale, and material combinations. By creating a photorealistic model, we were able to: ✔ Clarify the design vision ✔ Finalize selections faster ✔ Reduce revision cycles ✔ Strengthen presentation confidence Visualization isn’t just about creating beautiful images — it’s about improving communication and helping projects move forward with clarity. I love collaborating with professionals who want to elevate how they present their ideas and help their clients truly experience the design before it’s built. If you work in residential construction, interior design, or event production, I’d love to connect and share ideas. What part of your projects do clients struggle most to visualize?

Why Interior Design Workflows No Longer Scale Interior design isn’t short on creativity or talent. Teams are more skilled, tools more advanced, and visualisation faster than ever. Yet somehow, projects are getting slower and more complex to manage. The reason isn’t in the work — it’s in the workflow. For decades, the design process followed a linear path: planning → rendering → revision → approval → implementation. It worked perfectly when projects were simpler. But today, every decision affects five others. A single material change ripples through the budget, layout, logistics, and client expectations. The old “finish a stage and move on” logic breaks in this new environment. Designers are no longer following a sequence — they’re managing a network of interdependent decisions. The result? Endless revisions, delays, and rising fatigue on both sides of the table. Rendering, once a confirmation tool, now often becomes a way to postpone decisions. Each new visual raises new questions, stretching timelines instead of tightening them. The real issue isn’t the creativity or technology — it’s that traditional workflow structures simply can’t withstand today’s project density. That’s why the industry is shifting from linear to systemic. Modern projects demand a connected environment where planning, visualisation, and specifications live within one integrated system — where decisions can evolve in real time without breaking the entire process. Platforms like Eleganza AI reflect this new logic: combining design and data to create adaptive workflows that scale with complexity. Interior design no longer needs more tools — it needs a new logic of work. One that’s built for integration, speed, and accuracy across all stages, turning complexity into control. What’s one workflow step that’s slowing you down the most right now — and how could a connected system change that? #InteriorDesign #AIDesign #DesignWorkflows #InteriorInnovation #EleganzaAI

One mistake I made early in my design journey (and what it taught me) Early in my career, I believed that good design meant impressing people. I focused heavily on: – following trends – adding statement pieces – creating spaces that looked “designer” at first glance And while the spaces looked good in photos, something was off. The mistake? I was designing for validation, not for the person who would live or work in the space. I once completed a project that I was extremely proud of visually bold, trendy, and meticulously styled. But a few weeks later, the client told me they felt uncomfortable using the space. That moment stayed with me. The layout looked great but didn’t support their daily routine. The materials were beautiful but impractical for how they lived. The space reflected my taste, not their life. That experience taught me a lesson no design school ever emphasized enough: Interior design is not about how a space looks it’s about how it works and feels. Since then, my approach completely changed. Now, I start every project with questions instead of concepts: – How do you move through your space daily? – What frustrates you about your current layout? – Where do you spend the most time and why? I learned that: • A quieter design can be more powerful than a bold one • Listening is more important than presenting • The best compliment isn’t “this looks amazing,” but “this feels like home” Design maturity doesn’t come from mastering trends. It comes from understanding people. That early mistake shaped how I design today and I’m grateful it happened early. Question for creatives & designers: What’s one mistake that changed how you approach your work? #InteriorDesign #DesignJourney #CreativeProcess #UserCenteredDesign #LessonsLearned #LinkedInCreators

🔥Video is the new gold standard for interior design marketing🔥 But at what cost? Stop settling for static portfolios! It’s time to bring your interior designs to life Traditional production for interior design firms is often a major pain point: massive budgets for film crews, complex lighting setups, and weeks of post-production. But in 2026, a static portfolio is no longer enough to capture and hold the attention of high-net-worth clients. I’ve been testing a new approach: AI-driven video generation powered by high-quality assets directly from the designer’s brand book. What this means for your business: //Cost Efficiency: Generate world-class campaign visuals without the need for on-site shoots or expensive logistics. //Enhanced Performance: AI-powered video creatives consistently deliver a 2.5x higher CTR compared to static imagery, significantly lowering your Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC). //Absolute Brand Consistency: We preserve your brand’s DNA by working with your unique textures, palettes, and signature style! To be honest, this is my favorite part! The video below demonstrates how static renders are transformed into an immersive experience—selling the emotion of a space before a client even steps foot inside. What are your thoughts on this shift?

Interior design is visual. Now, your AI agent is too. 🎨✨ We are thrilled to announce our latest deployment with Lot Design, a premier commercial and residential interior design firm in Taiwan. Selling design services online is challenging. It’s a high-touch, deeply visual process that static images and standard chatbots struggle to replicate. Lot Design solved this by implementing a Perxona avatar based on founder and chief designer, Will. But "Will" doesn't just talk. He turns a conversation into a demonstration. When a potential client asks about their service workflow, Will doesn't just describe it in text—he instantly pulls up the corresponding visual aid on screen, walking them through the process step-by-step. This is the difference between a chatbot and a true digital brand ambassador. It’s engaging, informative, and builds trust instantly. If you are in the market for interior design, or just want to see the future of digital interaction in action, head over to Lot Design and have a chat with Will. 👉 Experience it here: https://lnkd.in/ggGKNM9A Best experienced on a real browser, mobile or desktop: www.lotdesign.com.tw/ #PerxonaAI #LotDesign #InteriorDesign #AIavatar #DigitalTransformation #BehaviorAI #ClientSuccess

Construction doesn't have to look "dusty." 🏗️✨ Just dropped my latest UI/UX case study for Aethelgard & Co., a premium architectural and roofing firm. The challenge? The construction industry is full of digital interfaces that feel cluttered and outdated. My goal was to flip the script: moving away from the typical "blue-collar" utility look to a "white-collar" luxury experience. Key Design Moves: 🔹 Dark Imagery First: To give the architectural photography a cinematic, "showroom" quality. 🔹 Trust Typography: Pairing elegant serifs with clean sans-serifs to balance heritage with modern precision. 🔹 Structured Grids: Creating a layout that feels as stable as the buildings they construct. Design isn't just about making things pretty; it's about translating a brand's physical reputation into a digital legacy.
