Different coasts, same lesson: voters don't see trade talks with Washington as a provincial job. Premiers running against Trump instead of on health care, deficits and the cost of living isn't leadership, it's a distraction. Carney is doing interviews with the New York Times while the message at home stays "elbows up" and blame America. Why not just admit it? For too many years governments have gone unaccounted for. Voters are finally making them answer for it.
