Bridging Imagination and Reality with AI-Driven Design As designers, the ability to rapidly iterate on complex lighting and material scenarios is a game-changer. This scene represents a modern family loft that prioritizes "warm minimalism"—a space that feels curated but lived-in. I utilized Nano Banana Pro to generate this high-fidelity visualization and using another software to generate the video. The precision in how the tool renders the diffused afternoon light against the slatted wood panels allows for a much more nuanced discussion with clients about "vibe" and "texture" early in the creative process. Design Highlights: • Integrated Storage: Seamless shelving that blends into the wall treatment. • Zoned Living: Using furniture orientation and rugs to define the lounge within a high-ceiling open plan. But AI won't ever replace humans. It's just a tool to make the step shorter than before, and it makes me more creative and playful.✨ #AIInDesign #InteriorVisualization #DigitalTransformation #NanoBananaPro #DesignTech #AIGC #Singapore

Design begins with understanding people. Anthropometry is more than just measurements—it is the foundation of designing spaces, furniture, and environments that truly respond to human needs. From circulation widths to seating comfort, reach ranges to ergonomic proportions, every dimension influences how a user experiences a space. As designers, we often focus on form and aesthetics, but functionality starts with one simple question: Who are we designing for? Good design is not just visually appealing—it fits people, supports movement, and improves everyday experiences. #Architecture #InteriorDesign #Anthropometry #Ergonomics #DesignThinking #HumanCenteredDesign #ArchitectureStudents #SpatialDesign

There’s something refreshing about a materials space designed for exploration rather than presentation. In its new Lisbon showroom, Toray Industries, Inc. has created an environment where designers can interact directly with Toray Ultrasuede within the context of production itself - blending Portuguese craftsmanship, Japanese spatial purity and a tactile, hands-on approach to material selection. From the calm architectural palette to the vibrant material displays, the space reflects a growing focus on sensory design, experimentation and more considered CMF decision-making across industries including automotive. A thoughtful look at how physical spaces can inspire new creative possibilities. Clerkenwell Design Week 2026 once again demonstrated why it remains one of the industry’s most important meeting points for brands, designers, architects and manufacturers. Across the three-day festival, we saw a clear shift towards immersive environments, material storytelling, circular thinking and design experiences that prioritise interaction as much as aesthetics. In our latest Sandford Journal article, we reflect on: • The key themes emerging across the festival • The conversations shaping the commercial interiors sector • The standout moments, launches and installations that captured attention • What these developments could signal for brands moving forward Read the full piece here: https://lnkd.in/eKbgaee8 #ClerkenwellDesignWeek #CDW2026 #CommercialInteriors #InteriorDesign

Inside the mind of Arielle Slobotski, Studio Manager of our MartinPatrick 3 Studio team. Guided by precision, proportion, and a deep understanding of how people truly live in a space, her approach is rooted in creating homes that feel intentional, timeless, and deeply personal. We asked her what defines great design, and the details she believes most people overlook. Read her answers below. Q. What’s one design detail you believe instantly elevates a space, but most people overlook? A. Correctly scaling furniture pieces and architectural features to fit the room’s proportion is so important. Scale can be difficult to discern, especially in an empty or pre-constructed space. That’s why we meticulously measure and draft plans before making recommendations. Many people choose based on comfort or aesthetic, but if a room isn’t balanced, it will always feel a little off. Q. How would you describe your personal design language in three words, and how does it show up in your work? A. Architectural, thoughtful, welcoming. I’m always considering how a space comes together, from architectural details to how furniture interacts with a room’s focal point. I focus on the small details that elevate everyday living and create a collaborative, inspiring process for my clients. Q. What’s the one piece or element you always build a room around? A. I build rooms around the conversations people want to have. Whether it’s for two or twenty, the layout, palette, and lighting all shape how people connect in a space. Q. Which designer lives rent-free in your mind, and why? A. Kelly Wearstler. She’s involved in every phase of design and has an instinct for what’s next, translating it into something bold yet approachable. #MartinPatrick3 #Minneapolis #Minnesota #InteriorDesign #Team

Happy to announce that our Photorealistic AR pipeline is now live 🚀 We can now instantly swap objects in scenes at the correct scale in seconds: • Instant Object Swapping: Replace existing furniture in a room with your products. • True-to-Size Accuracy: The new object maintains its real-world dimensions within the room's depth. • Complex FOV & Perspective: Perfectly aligns with any camera angle or wide-angle lens. • Realistic lighting: Shadows and reflections that stay consistent with the environment. • No hallucinated geometry: 100% accurate product representation. This changes how products are visualized online — especially for furniture, interiors, and e-commerce. We’re currently looking for a few early design and commerce partners to test real-world deployments. If you’re working in these spaces, feel free to reach out. #AR #SpatialComputing #InteriorDesign #DigitalTwin #Ecommerce #3D

Compact living needs furniture that adapts especially when designing safer spaces for children. Introducing Kinzo, the Third Prize Winner of Agrikraft 2026! Kinzo is a collapsible, multipurpose furniture concept designed around the idea of flexibility, movement, and space efficiency. What begins as a simple stool can transform into a functional surface while folding completely flat for easy storage. The project stood out for its thoughtful balance between: • smart functionality • manufacturability • material efficiency • and child-safe design thinking Using simple joinery systems and clean geometry, the team explored how furniture can remain adaptable without becoming complex, an important direction for future-ready interiors and compact urban spaces. At Agrikraft 2026, under the theme Safe by Nature, we continue to see how young designers are rethinking furniture through the lens of sustainability, safety, and real-world usability.
