"Traditional leadership training would have been the logical step. I took a different path." When Marika Nevalainen stepped into the business unit leader role at Deloitte, her team was operating across multiple time zones. Constant pressure, mental load, 24/7 availability. "I needed to find another way to perform at my best and be strongest in the moments that matter." Instead of traditional leadership training, Marika and her manager chose Hintsa. What Marika learned about her own performance, she embedded into how her entire team operates. 🎬 Full case story linked in the comments.

Courtney Coronado, this is exactly it! What you and the Jackson Contractor Group, Inc. leaders just went through isn't a course. It's a shift in how leadership is actually lived. What you all did was different. You leaned into connection. You had the hard conversations most teams avoid. You built trust under pressure, not comfort. That's where real leadership is forged. Jackson Contractor Group, Inc. under the leadership of Doug Jackson in particular, deserve serious recognition along with Hattie Redmon and many others on the executive team for having the conviction to invest in people this way. Not every organization is willing to step into that arena. The results speak for themselves: Stronger leaders Clearer accountability A standard that doesn't drop when things get hard. Tribe&Trust Leadership Academy
Andre Bosier of Tribe&Trust Leadership Academy, led myself and 13 other Jackson Contractor Group, Inc. leaders through an absolutely impeccable 15-week Leadership course unlike any I’ve experienced. This course challenged how we think. It wasn’t just about framework or strategies. It was about building trust, strengthening accountability, and having the hard and honest conversations that drive real growth. I’m very proud of the work this group put in. Even more excited to carry these lessons forward and continue raising the bar at Jackson. HUGE shout out and Thank You to Matt Brossman and Hattie Redmon for providing us with an amazing growth opportunity and believing in our people.

What happens when leaders slow down long enough to truly see themselves—and each other? Last week, I had the privilege of facilitating a 2-day leadership retreat with the 2026 cohort of Leadership Pasadena. Together, we moved beyond surface-level strengths into deeper awareness—exploring how those strengths show up under pressure, how they shape team dynamics, and how they can be intentionally leveraged for more conscious, effective leadership. What stood out to me most was the willingness in the room: → To reflect honestly → To challenge default patterns → To connect more deeply to the body as a source of awareness and wisdom → To notice how leadership shows up in the body → To deepen self-awareness and presence → To lead with more clarity, intention, and impact This is the kind of work I love most: helping leaders build greater self-awareness and translate insight into action. Grateful to Carolina Caro, CSP®, Conscious Leadership Partners and Leadership Pasadena for the trust & collaboration, and to the Tournament of Roses for hosting us in such a meaningful space. The ripple effects of this work extend far beyond the room.⚡🙌🏽 #CommunityLeadership #LeadershipPasadena #ConsciousLeadership #LeadershipDevelopment #SelfAwareness #LeadershipPresence #NovaQuestCoaching #ConsciousLeadershipPartners
Last Friday the 2026 Cohort participated in their second leadership retreat. Facilitated by Laila Keith of Conscious Leadership Partners, the group delved into their strengths and how to leverage them for personal growth and effective team building. Special thanks to the Tournament of Roses for hosting and the informative tour of the Wrigley Mansion! #communityleadership #leadershippasadena #pasadenacalifornia Laila Keith, ACC, CPC, CECC Carolina Caro, CSP® Alex McNulty, CFEE
