𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲-𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆. The real challenge is understanding that value is in the eye of the beholder and needs to be fully demonstrated. Incremental innovation can deliver meaningful benefits: improving treatment adherence, simplifying administration, reducing medication errors or helping healthcare systems use resources more efficiently. These improvements matter to patients, healthcare professionals and healthcare systems alike. Yet translating those benefits into relevant market access outcomes remains one of the biggest challenges facing Value-Added Medicines today. Evidence requirements continue to evolve, while expectations differ across regulators, HTA bodies and payers. What is considered meaningful value in one market may require a different level of evidence or be assessed differently in another. This is where many Value-Added Medicines encounter what is often referred to as the Recognition Gap: the challenge of translating clinical, economic and organizational benefits into evidence that supports pricing, reimbursement and market access decisions. 💡 Helping pharmaceutical companies bridge this Recognition Gap is at the core of ProductLife Group's approach. By combining regulatory expertise, evidence generation and market access strategies, we help build robust value propositions tailored to the expectations of different European markets. 👉 Looking to strengthen the value proposition of your Value-Added Medicines portfolio? A great day of cross-sector insights at the annual House of Pharma & Healthcare conference in Frankfurt.💡🏥 Bringing together policymakers, physicians, payers, pharma leaders, and researchers, the event proves how vital cross-silo dialogue is for sustainable healthcare. Key takeaways from today’s sessions: 🔹 Ongoing debates around the financial and structural impact of GKV legislation on pharmaceutical R&D and supply chains. ⚖️💊 🔹 The European Health Data Space (EHDS) is set to transform cross-border research and care—infrastructure and usability will be key. 🌐📊 🔹 Looking beyond my daily statutory care lens reinforced that progress only happens when clinical practice, regulation, and science align. 🤝🔍 #KVRLP #HouseOfPharma #Healthcare #Pharma #Gesundheitswesen #LifeSciences #GoetheUniversität #Frankfurt #Innovation #HealthPolicy #Forschung #Versorgung #ZukunftGesundheit

Approved in Europe. Ready for Italy? Not necessarily. Regulatory approval is an essential milestone, but it does not automatically translate into market access, reimbursement or commercial adoption. For Pharma and MedTech companies looking to enter the Italian market, success requires much more than understanding the regulatory framework. It means understanding how the market actually works. Italy combines national decision-making with strong regional and local dynamics. Reimbursement pathways, HTA considerations, hospital access, procurement processes, tender requirements, evidence expectations and stakeholder engagement can all influence how quickly and successfully a product reaches patients and healthcare professionals. Approval → Access → Adoption Planning to enter or expand in Italy? Understanding the market before launch can make the difference between being approved and being successfully adopted. #MarketAccess #Italy #Pharma #MedTech #LifeSciences #Healthcare #HTA #Pricing #Reimbursement #GoToMarket

Results first: Uninterrupted pediatric and adult patient access to critical medicines in a low-resource country. We partnered with a global biopharmaceutical company to provide compliant, on-time supply of these critical medicines, and worked with the manufacturer to develop clear policies for free-of-charge supply into key markets, giving patients additional time to secure funding from local authorities or national health systems. Learn how we did it on our website: https://lnkd.in/e4gbBCYi

Market Access is more than getting a drug reimbursed. Over the years, I have learned that successful Market Access is not simply about obtaining reimbursement or setting the right price. It is about bringing together different perspectives: • Patient needs and access • Clinical value and evidence • Pricing and reimbursement • Healthcare system priorities • Stakeholder expectations • Business sustainability Regulatory approval is an important milestone, but it is only one step in the journey. The real challenge begins when we need to translate clinical and economic value into meaningful and sustainable patient access. This is where I believe Market Access becomes a strategic function, connecting healthcare value, business objectives, and the realities of the healthcare system. For me, this is one of the most interesting aspects of working in Market Access: Turning value into access. #MarketAccess #Pharma #Pricing #Reimbursement #PatientAccess #Healthcare #PharmaceuticalIndustry
