Root cause found, service restored, and your traces still have plenty to say. 🔍 Engineers use OpenTelemetry logs, metrics and traces to fix production. Once that same data is connected to business data, it can also show customer impact, revenue at risk and long-term reliability trends. Observe, Inc. by Snowflake helps teams restore service faster, and Snowflake keeps that telemetry open, governed and ready for analytics and AI long after the incident ends. Telemetry reliability only stabilizes when observability primitives are enforced across orchestration layers. System resilience depends on deterministic coupling of OpenTelemetry signals with governed analytics pipelines.

From the SOC side, this is the part most teams miss. The traces kept for reliability are often the only record of what an attacker actually touched. We see it with municipal and healthcare clients: logs rotate out at 30 days, the breach surfaces at day 90. Retention is a security decision, not just a storage one.
