“Claude killed our startup.” That’s what Ira Bodnar, founder of San Francisco–based Ryze, wrote after Anthropic’s Claude rolled out features that directly competed with her product. Ryze built an AI agent to automate Google and Meta ads. Hundreds of paying clients. 70% close rate. Fast growth. Then Claude and Manus launched ad connectors. Overnight, Ryze’s close rate dropped from 70% to 20%. Same problem. Same automation. But built into the foundation model. Now Ryze is pivoting — focusing on complex AI workflows for large agencies. Bodnar says in the AI era, the real moat isn’t just building. It’s distribution, taste, and speed. This is what founders are calling the “SaaSpocalypse” When the platform you build on becomes your biggest competitor. #claudeai #aistartup #linkedinlearning

Co-selling - the act in which two or more companies jointly sell their complementary products or services - is becoming a crucial GTM and partnerships play for startups in the AI era. While AI will eventually replace almost everything in co-sell startup partnerships, one thing it won't replace - that sacred moment where a compelling co-sell story is born. That happens in a meeting between two or more human beings. I call it "co-story". We shall use AI tools to automate reach-outs, context analysis, prep, and follow-ups - so we can channel all our human skills into the actual co-sell meeting, where the dialogue creates new ideas and co-stories. #cosell #partnerships #gtm

AI-first is the most overhyped startup strategy right now. I've watched it quietly kill products that could've worked. Here's what nobody is saying out loud. Founders who lead with AI attract attention. Then struggle to explain who it's actually for. Then wonder why retention is broken from day one. The products scaling right now didn't lead with AI. They led with a problem worth solving and chose AI as the best tool to solve it. That order changes everything. Save this before your next pitch or product decision. P.S. Does your product lead with the technology or the outcome?

Most startups guess what customers want. This AI startup did something different: they made 1,000+ customer calls before writing a single line of code. The result? A product that sells itself because it solves real problems—no guesswork involved. Here’s what they learned: - Deep customer conversations uncover needs no survey can catch - Iterating *with* users beats building *for* users - Fundraising becomes easier when your product comes from actual demand, not hype If you skip this step, you’re building in the dark. They chose clarity over assumptions—and scaled faster because of it. Read More: https://lnkd.in/ga-dgwHg #CustomerCentric #StartupGrowth #EnterpriseAI #ProductDevelopment #LeanStartup

The definition of a successful startup just changed. In 2020, hitting $10M ARR meant you had a team of 30, a Series B, and a burn rate that kept you up at night. In 2026, founders are hitting $10M ARR with 3 people, no VC money, and margins that most public companies would envy. Greg Isenberg calls this "the greatest time to build a startup in 30 years." He's not talking about AI hype. He's talking about the math. Hosting: $0. Distribution: social media. Customer support: AI. Code: AI writes 70% of it. Legal: AI drafts it. Marketing: AI personalizes it. The capital that used to go to headcount now stays in the business. The founders winning right now aren't the ones with the biggest checks. They're the ones who figured out that lean is a competitive advantage, not a constraint. The old playbook said raise to grow. The new one says: remove every reason you need to. What's the biggest cost your team has eliminated with AI?

Wednesday night founder thought on AI… Everyone’s talking about the AI race like it’s already won. But honestly, there’s a strange kind of relief in knowing the global giants are still in it. Because when too many chefs are in the kitchen… the broth gets weird. Right now you’ve got big tech, startups, open-source communities, researchers, and solo builders all pushing different directions. It’s messy. It’s loud. It’s chaotic. But that chaos is also where opportunity lives. As a solo founder, I’ve realised something: You don’t have to beat the giants. You just have to move between them. While the big labs compete on models, compute, and benchmarks… small teams (or even one person) can win on: • speed • niche problems • distribution • weird ideas no committee would approve The giants are building the engines. We’re building the vehicles people actually drive. And sometimes being the only chef in the kitchen means the recipe actually gets finished. 🍜🤖 Curious what others think. #ArtificialIntelligence #GenerativeAI #StartupLife #SoloFounder #AIBuilders #AIStartups #BuildInPublic #Innovation

𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗣 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗔𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗜 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽𝘀 The explosive rise of generative AI triggered a gold-rush moment for startups, with new ventures seemingly launching by the minute. But as the market matures, not all business models born during the boom are proving resilient. According to a senior Google executive, two once-popular approaches are now flashing warning signs: LLM wrappers and AI aggregators. #AIStartups #ArtificialIntelligence #TechTrends #StartupChallenges #InnovationVsHype #TechLeadership READ MORE https://lnkd.in/gcYE78Hb

⚠️ 6-month roadmap disappear in 11 seconds, because of AI! How to avoid that for early stage Founders? ⚠️ I recently read about a founder who shut down their funded startup, not because of a lack of cash, but because of #Claude of Anthropic. 📉 They realized that a single #prompt could do in 11 seconds what their team took 6 months to build. This is the conversation nobody wants to have in the board room right now. AI isn't just changing how we build software; it’s retroactively making entire categories of software pointless. In my 15 years in the tech ecosystem, including my time at Google, I’ve seen shifts before. But this is different. It’s not just an "innovation cycle", it’s a liquidation of the traditional moat. 🌊 If your core value proposition is: 👉 Moving data from point A to point B 👉 Summarizing content 👉 Generating basic reports 👉 Simple pattern recognition ...then your product might be underwater and you don't even know it yet. At Boost10x (cc Jalil Chikhi), when we sit down with founders, the first thing we do isn't looking at the roadmap. It’s a brutal "Pressure Test." We ask the question that keeps people up at night: 💡 "Does this product still deserve to exist in a world of commoditized intelligence?" 💡 The founders who survive this wave won't be the ones who move the fastest. They’ll be the ones who are honest with themselves the earliest. If you're hesitating to answer what you do that an #LLM genuinely cannot replace, that hesitation is your answer. It’s time to pivot from "building features" to "owning the context." Founders: What is your "Un-Claude-able" advantage? Let’s talk about it! #Startup #AI #Founder #TechTrends

Successful founders are abandoning $100M ARR companies to chase AI. Smart or insane? I've watched multiple CEOs walk away from profitable businesses to pursue AI startups. $100M ARR. 100% net retention. 10,000 customers. Gone. This isn't just FOMO. It's existential panic. The thinking: "If I don't jump now, I'll miss the biggest wealth creation event of my lifetime." 💭 But walking away from a thriving business you've built from nothing carries enormous opportunity cost. The smarter path? Integration over abandonment. We're helping companies weave AI into their existing GTM operations without torching what's working. Intelligent automation that amplifies your current business model rather than replacing it. 🔄 If you were running a $100M ARR company today, would you stay the course or pivot hard into AI? #aifirst #alpndigital #founderstress #businessstrategy #techtrends
