Viet Anh Nguyen’s Post

My hands are shaking as I type this. Nine weeks of learning side by side with brilliant, inspiring women founders is coming to an end. Next Monday, we step on stage to showcase our businesses to investors and to the broader industry ecosystem. I have been quiet these past couple of weeks because I was trying to absorb as much as I could. There were moments when fear took over, when I realized how big this passion for hot sauce has become. It is a privilege, and it does not come easily. Five years ago, I could not have imagined being in the same room as the people I am fortunate to learn with today. Back in Vietnam, I heard no from my mom so often it felt like a daily dose of character building. I learned early what it felt like to want something deeply and be told it was not for me. For a long time, it felt like my life was slipping away day by day. Now I get to move toward my dream, live it, and prove it every day. I am extremely proud of everyone in my cohort, and I am grateful for the community that carried us to this point.
