  • What are firefighters saying about FARS? Our series about Firefighter Air Replenishment Systems (FARS) concludes with our sixth fact—highlighting how firefighters feel about FARS. See why they’re advocating for FARS technology, then read facts 1-6 in our article. Fact #6: Model code inclusion reflects what firefighters are asking for. Firefighters are requesting tools that extend their operational time and improve safety. Fire department leaders across the country see FARS as a necessary tool and are advocating for codes that require FARS in new construction. The growing number of code adoptions nationwide, not the number of FARS deployments to date, is the metric that supports the legitimacy of FARS. Learn why firefighters across the U.S. are supporting FARS. Read the article: https://on.jci.com/3P0g2MR

  • There is no better way to understand fire suppression performance than to see it in action. Recently, we welcomed a group of safety consultants, insurers, and specifiers to our Ladenburg, Germany facility for a hands-on demonstration of the ANSUL® R-102 Restaurant Fire Suppression System. The highlight of the event was a live fire demonstration, where attendees witnessed a commercial fat fryer auto-ignite before the ANSUL R-102 system successfully suppressed the fire. Seeing system performance in a real-world scenario provided valuable insight into the critical role automatic fire suppression plays in protecting people, property, and business continuity. Participants also had the opportunity to take part in practical fire safety activities, including hands-on training with portable fire extinguishers, helping reinforce key fire response principles and build confidence in emergency situations. Events like these create valuable opportunities to share knowledge, demonstrate proven fire protection technologies, and engage directly with the professionals who help shape safer environments every day. Thank you to all our guests for joining us in Ladenburg and experiencing the power of ANSUL fire protection first-hand. For information on the ANSUL R-102 System, visit https://on.jci.com/4hjhdBm
