I built a new plugin 🔌 You can now trigger Codex from Claude Code! Use the Codex plugin for Claude Code to delegate tasks to Codex or have Codex review your changes using your ChatGPT subscription. The Codex plugin is built on top of the Codex app server so it uses the same open-source agent harness as the rest of Codex. It means you can run multiple Codex tasks in parallel in the background, use the same models and the same Codex code review functionality! To install: /plugins marketplace add openai/codex-plugin-cc /plugins install codex@openai-codex Repo with more docs and more details below 👇

  • Codex Partner Bootcamp – Government We brought together 50+ engineers and AI leaders from leading Federal System Integrators for a Codex Partner Bootcamp focused on the U.S. public sector. The objective was simple: get our partners building to serve the US Government. The session walked through how to set up and use Codex in real development environments — from workflow integration to practical coding scenarios that partners can bring directly into government programs. Why this matters: AI-powered software development has the potential to fundamentally change how government builds and maintains mission systems. Codex enables engineers to move faster from idea → implementation, automate significant portions of the development lifecycle, and focus more time on solving mission problems rather than writing boilerplate code. For government programs that depend on complex, long-lived software systems, that shift could be transformational. A big thank you to Carahsoft for hosting the event in Reston and helping bring the ecosystem together! Outcomes from the State of TN's deployment of ChatGPT for government so far ...

🚀 Tennessee is accelerating into the future with AI! Over the past year, the State of Tennessee has made major strides in responsibly integrating generative AI into day-to-day government operations. With a strong governance framework now in place, more than 1,000 state employees are actively using ChatGPT Enterprise, with 2,000 more licenses ready to roll out. And the impact? 📈 Employees are saving 30–50 hours every month, nearly an entire workweek, through faster drafting, summarizing, coding support, documentation, transcription, and more. What’s driving this transformation? ✨ A formal AI strategy ✨ A statewide workforce initiative, Focus Forward, to upskill employees ✨ Strong governance and clear use case development ✨ A “purpose first” mindset. Not can we use AI, but should we use AI? From IT to legal, policy, operations, customer service, and communications, teams across Tennessee are already seeing meaningful improvements in efficiency — and, most importantly, in how services are delivered to residents. This is what responsible, measurable, resident-centered innovation looks like. Tennessee is building the foundation to ensure every AI use case is backed by clear outcomes: ⏱ Time saved 💡 Improved workflows 📊 Data-driven evaluation 🔄 Scalable, repeatable value And we’re just getting started! 🔗 Read the StateScoop article with CIO Kristin Darby to find out more: https://bit.ly/4bBxRt2 #TNDeptofFinanceandAdministration #StateScoop #DigitalGovernment #FutureOfWork #Efficiency #FocusForward

Veterans are stepping into an economy already being reshaped by AI. That’s why the OpenAI Academy brought together nearly 100 veterans and transitioning service members in Reston, Virginia, for a pilot workshop focused on a practical question: how can AI help people navigate career transition and work more effectively? The early feedback was encouraging. In our post-event survey, close to every respondent said they left with an example or workflow they can use in their job search or at work, and participants rated the workshop 9.6 out of 10 on average when asked how likely they would be to recommend it to another veteran. We’re grateful to The AI Collective • Hampton Roads, Erin Marie, Andrew S., Ted P., Carahsoft, and Veterans Forge for helping make the day possible. This is the kind of collaboration that matters in the AI era: practical, skills-based, and focused on expanding access to opportunity.
