Rules

Gameplay Rules

These rules provide a general overview of behavior that is not permitted on Mineplex and are not intended to cover every possible situation. By using Mineplex services, players are expected to follow all applicable rules. These rules may be updated as necessary.

Enforcement
Violations of Mineplex's rules may result in restrictions or other actions being applied to your account. The action taken may vary depending on the circumstances and severity of the violation.

Appeals
If you believe you were punished incorrectly, you may submit an appeal through the Support Hub.

Impersonation
Impersonating a staff member may fall under any applicable rule that you are using to impersonate staff. Having similarities to staff is fine, but trying to act like one is not.

Client Offenses

Hacking / Unapproved Modifications
Do not use modifications, clients, macros, or other tools that provide an unfair gameplay advantage or have otherwise been disallowed for use on Mineplex. Players are responsible for ensuring that any modifications they use comply with Mineplex's rules.

Generally Permitted Modifications
Modifications that are purely cosmetic, improve performance, or passively provide information that is already normally available to the player are generally permitted, provided they do not offer an unfair gameplay advantage or interfere with intended server functionality. Specific modifications may still be disallowed by Mineplex.

Gameplay Offenses

Gameplay Abusing
Do not intentionally abuse gameplay mechanics to prevent or significantly hinder other players from participating in the game. Players must play for their intended team and may not intentionally sabotage their teammates or cooperate with opponents when the game does not permit it. Do not spawn kill/spawn trap in Champions or BH (Hunters). Not punishable in MPS.

Inappropriate Gameplay
Do not create or display inappropriate content through gameplay or in-game features.

Bug Exploiting
Do not intentionally abuse bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage or disrupt gameplay.

Bypassing Ban / Mute
Do not use alternate accounts or other methods to bypass an active punishment.

Stat Boosting
Do not intentionally manipulate gameplay or use unauthorized methods to artificially increase account statistics.

Inappropriate Username
Do not use usernames containing or deliberately disguising inappropriate or prohibited content.

Inappropriate Cosmetics
Do not use skins, capes, or other cosmetics containing inappropriate or prohibited content.

Clans Rules

Clans follows all of the chat and gameplay rules already in place.
The following is not allowed on Clans:

Trucing/Teaming
Do not intentionally cooperate or team with players outside of your Clan when Clans gameplay does not permit it.

Sky Bridges
Do not build or use bridges at heights prohibited by Clans gameplay.

Individual War Point Evasion
Do not intentionally avoid giving another player or Clan War Points by logging out, intentionally dying, or otherwise avoiding a legitimate death.

Clan-Based War Point Evasion
Do not intentionally evade the loss of Clan War Points or protect Clan gear through the recreation of Clans, movement of gear, or other forms of deliberate evasion.

Inappropriate Clan Name
Do not use Clan names containing or deliberately disguising inappropriate or prohibited content.

Block Glitching / Ability Abuse
Do not intentionally abuse blocks, collision, abilities, or other game mechanics to access, attack through, or interact with areas in ways normal gameplay does not permit.

Duping
Do not intentionally duplicate items through bugs, glitches, or other unintended methods.

Griefing
Do not intentionally damage, obstruct, or alter another Clan's territory in ways that serve no legitimate gameplay purpose.

Event Map Exploiting
Do not intentionally access or leave restricted areas of an event map through glitches, ability abuse, or other unintended methods.
