Par­tic­i­pat­ing orga­ni­za­tions are encour­aged to use the Old Bill’s logo lead­ing up to and through­out the Giv­ing Sea­son. • Donate dur­ing the Giv­ing Season
• Reg­is­ter to Run/​Walk or have crawlers par­tic­i­pate in the Dia­per Derby
• Vol­un­teer before or dur­ing Run Day. 

The Old Bill’s Match­ing Grant struc­ture was devel­oped to pro­vide par­tial match­ing grants that broad­ly sup­port all par­tic­i­pat­ing orga­ni­za­tions, as described below.

• Up to $30,000 in gifts des­ig­nat­ed for spe­cif­ic orga­ni­za­tions are eli­gi­ble for par­tial match­ing grants.
• Fis­cal­ly spon­sored orga­ni­za­tions par­tic­i­pate under their sponsor’s $30,000 cap.
• The match per­cent­age is vari­able and based upon the ratio of total eli­gi­ble des­ig­nat­ed gifts to the total the Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion rais­es in match­ing funds.
• All eli­gi­ble par­tic­i­pat­ing orga­ni­za­tions receive the same per­cent of match­ing dol­lars on the first $30,000 in des­ig­nat­ed con­tri­bu­tions they raise.

The Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion pro­vides a secure web­page for your orga­ni­za­tion to view your Old Bill’s donations. 

Dur­ing Giv­ing Sea­son, your organization’s des­ig­nat­ed Old Bill’s con­tact will receive an email with your user ID, as well as guid­ance on review­ing dona­tions. The Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion staff process­es gifts steadi­ly from the start of the Giv­ing Sea­son through mid-October.

All gifts are reviewed pri­or to post­ing, includ­ing online dona­tions, which cre­ates a delay between gift receipt and when gifts are vis­i­ble. Note that almost ⅔ of dona­tions arrive in the last week of the Giv­ing Sea­son. Last year, the Foun­da­tion received over $1 mil­lion dol­lars in checks and over $300,000 in cred­it card gifts on the last day. You will be noti­fied when all gifts have been processed. We appre­ci­ate your patience!

Since its found­ing in 1997, Old Bill’s Fun Run has been pro­duced by the Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion of Jack­son Hole for the ben­e­fit of the Jack­son com­mu­ni­ty. At a high lev­el, the Foundation’s role includes the fol­low­ing responsibilities:

• Receiv­ing and pro­cess­ing all gifts to Old Bill’s Fun Run and issu­ing tax receipts to donors
• Sup­port­ing par­tic­i­pat­ing non­prof­its from start to finish
• Pro­vid­ing mar­ket­ing and pro­mo­tion­al sup­port for Old Bill’s
• Secur­ing CoChal­lengers and cor­po­rate spon­sors to gen­er­ate match­ing funds
• Pro­duc­ing and exe­cut­ing Old Bill’s Fun Run in part­ner­ship with ded­i­cat­ed com­mu­ni­ty volunteers

Booth reg­is­tra­tion is now closed, but there are many mean­ing­ful ways to par­tic­i­pate on Run Day. Host­ing a both is just one of them. 

Booth maps, booth num­bers, load-in times, and drop-off loca­tions will be post­ed to the web­site on Tues­day, Sep­tem­ber 8, 2026.

The Con­tri­bu­tion Activ­i­ty Report excel export pro­vides the total con­tri­bu­tion by donors, which includes the 2.4% fee applied to cred­it card dona­tions. The cred­it card fees are deduct­ed from your organization’s account before receiv­ing your final grant check.

An orga­ni­za­tion must be a 501(c)(3) in good stand­ing, gov­ern­men­tal enti­ty, faith-based orga­ni­za­tion, or be fis­cal­ly spon­sored by anoth­er qual­i­fy­ing orga­ni­za­tion. An orga­ni­za­tion must qual­i­fy as ​“local” as deter­mined by the Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion dur­ing appli­ca­tion review using any one of the fol­low­ing def­i­n­i­tions as guidance:

• An orga­ni­za­tion that pre­dom­i­nant­ly works in or serves Teton Coun­ty, WY, OR
• An offi­cial Jack­son Hole/​Teton Coun­ty, WY chap­ter in good stand­ing of a state/​regional/​national mem­ber­ship orga­ni­za­tion, with a local advi­so­ry board com­prised pre­dom­i­nant­ly of Teton Coun­ty, WY res­i­dents, OR
• A state orga­ni­za­tion, with Teton Coun­ty, WY rep­re­sen­ta­tion on the board; at least one paid employ­ee whose respon­si­bil­i­ties are pre­dom­i­nant­ly com­prised of pro­gram work in Teton Coun­ty, WY; and ded­i­cat­ed office space or a remote­ly based employ­ee in Teton Coun­ty, WY, OR
• A regional/​national orga­ni­za­tion, with a board or local advi­so­ry board com­prised pre­dom­i­nant­ly of Teton Coun­ty, WY res­i­dents; at least one paid employ­ee whose respon­si­bil­i­ties are pre­dom­i­nant­ly com­prised of pro­gram work in Teton Coun­ty, WY; and ded­i­cat­ed office space or a remote­ly based employ­ee in Teton Coun­ty, WY.

Join us for Old Bil­l’s Run Day on Sat­ur­day, Sep­tem­ber 12, 2026, at 8:00am at Jack­son Ele­men­tary School fields. Old Bill’s Fun Run includes an inter­ac­tive Non­prof­it Vil­lage with 100+ booths fea­tur­ing the work of local non­prof­its, a 5K and 10K Run/​Walk/​Adaptive race as well as a high­ly com­pet­i­tive Dia­per Der­by. Win­ners of each race receive prize mon­ey to donate to their favorite non­prof­its. Thanks to the gen­eros­i­ty of our CoChal­lengers, it is free to run or walk in Old Bil­l’s. Reg­is­tra­tion is required to par­tic­i­pate in the Fun Run and timed races.

Old Bill is the spir­it of gen­eros­i­ty in our com­mu­ni­ty. All par­tic­i­pants in this extra­or­di­nary event are Old Bill!

Yes! Local non­prof­its apply to par­tic­i­pate in Old Bill’s each year to ensure they meet the eli­gi­bil­i­ty require­ments and abide by the rules and pro­ce­dures of Old Bill’s.

No. Orga­ni­za­tions serv­ing both Teton Coun­ty, WY and Teton Coun­ty, ID should be in touch with Old Bil­l’s & Tin Cup pro­gram admin­is­tra­tors to deter­mine which pro­gram will be the best fit. 

Qual­i­fy­ing orga­ni­za­tions may par­tic­i­pate in Old Bil­l’s with a Fis­cal Spon­sor­ship for two years. Orga­ni­za­tions pro­vid­ing fis­cal spon­sor­ship for anoth­er orga­ni­za­tion or pro­gram inter­est­ed in par­tic­i­pat­ing in Old Bil­l’s must be a 501(c)(3) in good stand­ing, gov­ern­ment enti­ty, or faith-based orga­ni­za­tion and meet the eli­gi­bil­i­ty require­ments set forth in the Rules and Pro­ce­dures.
