Onward & Upward is accredited by the Association of Experiential Education.  Accreditation is important to us as it demonstrates our commitment to providing quality programs that adhere to professional standards.  It also validates that our programs follow best practices and industry standards for ethical care, curriculum and risk management practices.

There are inherent risks and challenges associated with outdoor adventures, but as an organization we have a low risk tolerance; the physical and emotional safety of our students is our highest priority.

Our instructors are professionally trained as outdoor educators and maintain numerous certifications such as Wilderness First Responder, Top Rope Climbing Guide, Canoe Instructor, Sea Kayaking Instructor, Avalanche Rescue and Challenge Course Facilitator certifications.
