Join us for the International Sport of Lawn Bowls

Hidden from view at Embarcadero Road and Cowper Street is the Palo Alto Lawn Bowls Club (PALBC), a local gem since the 1930s. We invite you to discover lawn bowling—it's easy to learn, affordable, and a wonderful way to get gentle exercise and meet new people.

Our club is open year-round. When our gates are open, we welcome the public to come watch, visit, and talk to our members. If you're a bowler visiting from another club, you're welcome to join our games at no cost. You don't need to wear "whites," just flat-soled shoes, and we have loaner bowls available.

Byxbee parkrun win the 2025 SV CORPORATE CUP!

We hosted the 2025 Silicon Valley Corporate Cup on Friday, September 5th. This after-hours tournament was a casual, fun, and social event open to teams from Silicon Valley organizations, companies, and alumni. Eight teams gathered at the green for this inaugural event. After three fast-paced games, cheers rose as Byxbee parkrun lifted the restored Darlington Cup trophy. Pizza, wine, and celebration followed — and with $900 raised for Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, it was both a memorable night on the greens and a win for the community. Checkout the 2026 tournament.
