The RP Photonics website and all of its content — including the RP Photonics Encyclopedia, blogs like the Photonics Spotlight, tutorials and case studies, the RP Photonics Buyer’s Guide and any other text, graphics, or media — are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. By accessing or using this website, whether as a human reader or through an automated system (including AI bots and crawlers), you agree to the following terms.

All content on this website is the intellectual property of RP Photonics, unless otherwise noted. No rights are granted except as explicitly stated in these terms.

Permitted Use

You may:

  • Quote short excerpts of textual content (up to 5 consecutive sentences or 500 characters, whichever is shorter) for reference or educational purposes.
  • Summarize content in your own words, provided that summaries are factually accurate and not misleading.

Images, Graphics and Videos

For some materials from third parties, such permissions are mostly not possible.

Logos, Design Elements and Trademarks
