Practical

We warmly welcome you to the Stedelijk Museum. To make your visit as pleasant as possible, we ask that you purchase your ticket online in advance. Are you visiting the museum with a Museum Card? Then we kindly request that you reserve a time slot. You can do this via the green button at the top of the page.

Handbags of up to A4 size are permitted in the museum galleries. You may not bring backpacks and/or weekend cases into the museum. They can be left in the lockers.

The library is open by appointment.

The Stedelijk houses three dining venues: Fonda Coffee Bar and Café Restaurant Sandberg on the ground floor, and Fonda Café on the first floor.

You don't need an entrance ticket to visit the museum shop, the Don Quixote Sculpture Hall, Fonda Coffee Bar, or Café Restaurant Sandberg. Please note: to visit Fonda Café you do need an entrance ticket.
