"I bought these for bread proofing - finding a place for the dough to rise at the correct temperature. Now I use them everywhere, to check that precious pantry supplies are stored safely, to check on cooling lagging on these blazing hot days. The SPOT is a genius device - well designed, inconspicuously scaled, lightening fast!"

"This device is handier than pockets on a shirt. As many say here you buy one for a specific application and realize it has many around the house, and in the garage! I have one constructive comment. You don’t point out that in is Hi/Lo tracker until the last paragraph on the first page! That is the main feature! How cold did it get in my garage last night? Well now I know! Plus many other applications!! A great small gift ."

Works , but features are slimmed down from earlier
"I have one of these from a few years ago. On the new ones I just received, there is only one stick on metal plate to attach it to. The one I had before came with 3. The newer one has no markings in the battery compartment indicating which side goes up. It tells you on a small piece of paper, but that will soon be lost. Trivial I know, but another one of the many make it cheaper and charge more examples of today's economy."
