Larry Rubin
About
While studying music in London, Larry Rubin grew to prefer spending his evenings in the city’s wine bars—first as a guest, then as an employee—where he discovered a passion for wine as something to attend to and, perhaps more important, as a lubricant for good conversation. Though a proud New Englander, he now lives in New York City with his wife and their Chihuahua. He joined Wine Spectator as an assistant tasting coordinator in 2021 and was promoted to associate tasting coordinator in 2026.
