I spoke to the Nepali Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal this morning and expressed Britain’s solidarity and deepest condolences for the disaster that has occurred.
My thoughts this evening are with all those affected by the floods in Nepal, including British nationals in the area and their families, as well as communities here in the UK, who will be deeply worried about friends and family.
I am deeply concerned to hear of the flash floods on the Nepal-China Border. All my thoughts are with those affected and with British nationals in the area and their relatives here at home.
