    Local news needs to reach voters where they are – Facebook local groups, Next Door, Reddit, Tik Tok, text messaging, WhatsApp. I mean actually embed ourselves, have our workflow and output be informed by and report to people where they ingest information. poynter.org/commentary/202…

    fwiw i keep talking about how we used to combat disinfo because it WORKED. in real-time - we'd watch disinfo collapse within the hour. this isn't all literacy, it's intentionally removing this guardeail
