    BREAKING NEWS: Canada adds 75k jobs in July, well ahead of expectations. Unemployment rate falls to 6.4% from 6.5%. Since April, total employment is up by 181k. Third straight month of good employment numbers out of Canada, more than fully reversing a weak start to the year.

    BREAKING NEWS: StatsCan data out this morning shows Canada's economy looking very strong at the start of summer. GDP up 0.3% in May and (preliminary) 0.2% gain in June. Overall, GDP tracking annualized growth of 3.4% in Q2 - which would be strongest quarterly gain in three years.
