I mount my synology nfs shares on Ubuntu with the fstab line:

192.168.254.101:/volume2/kodi /media/video-nas nfs4 rw,rsize=1048576,wsize=1048576,noatime,nconnect=4,hard,timeo=14,retrans=2,_netdev,x-systemd.mount

How can i do the same on OS X?

I tried with finder Connect to server, but it asks me for username and password, but if I put my synology account credentials it bounces like they are wrong and nothing happens. I'm sure my login works on synology, I just logged in, but it seems it wants something different on OS X.

I don't know where to search for some log on my mac or on the synology.

Any idea?

  • What are you using as the address in the Connect dialog? Not sure NFS works so well in macOS, do you have Samba enabled in DSM? Commented Mar 22 at 13:53
