enter image description hereAnimated rotation of simple cube

Did array in 3 directions of a simple cube

This array follows the previous rotation of the cube

Apply arrays

Separate cubes by loose parts

I animate a camera flying through the moving cubes and want to follow the centre cube as the target

Can only target the original cube of the array, with constrain; track to.

Is it something to do with Vertex groups?

Edit

So I recreated the problem I had; you see an array of cubes; the animation is that the array is rotating (about the first cube_ all the cubes are now separate objects) I am trying to get the camera to track one of the moving cubes

(The two missing cubes are where I set the Origin to Geometry and the cubes just vanished)

Select the cube you want to track, right click > Set Origin > Origin to geometry.

Now the Damped track to constraint will track as expected.
