Started out hot but mellowed out mid-meal. Spicy nose, but all plum, jam, dark fruit on palate. Very round and rich, with “chewiness”. No acid at all but it worked. — 3 months ago

Reliable and comforting. This tastes like home and the holidays, Sunday sauces, some spicy conversations. Sage, rosemary, black pepper aroma, with red fruit, chalky tannins and a medium body with high acid that is drinkable while still standing tall.
