Once you get to superior level 50, you need much more XP to level up (though your level still stays at 50) and the bonuses fall off majorly - only 1 health point and 1% more damage per level.
Can you keep levelling up forever? Will the bonuses accrue until, eventually, you can defeat any enemy in one hit?
It could be possible, there's no level-up limit apparently.
But melee damage could be capped, according to this Reddit post where a very similar question was asked:
I'm at 240 hp (lvl. 90) now and still two-three punching most enemies at Fisk. I'm starting to think there is a hard cap on melee damage.
It seems like there hasn't been a difference in how fast I take things down since around 230.
