I fell into the following audit tests:

How to set up a Git host on Windows?

https://superuser.com/review/first-answers/1324089

I admit that the answers are insufficiently described, but they look legit, certainly taking into account that they have been written by a first-time user of this site.

@JourneymanGeek: That would be bad: as far as I know, questions are added to the audit testlist automatically, so there should be a way to remove posts who are put there erroneously. On sister site StackOverflow, there is even a special tag for this: meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/disputed-review-audits. Commented Aug 4, 2025 at 7:19

During reviews I have got into the habit of opening the question in a different tab which (a) allows me to scan the other answers when applicable to see if the answer under review is unique (b) If the post under review is no longer on the main site, or has different votes, it is clear I am looking at a review audit and therefore need to "proceed with caution". • As much as I dislike the review system and I think it has tons of flaws, I think those were failed by you 100% correctly - such answers should always be flagged as very low quality, doesn't matter if they're from new users or not. Deleting such answers makes the users more aware that such contributions are not welcome. Downvoting them once or twice not so much, especially if there's no comment with a reason. Clutter is also left for people to read for no reason. Commented Aug 8, 2025 at 2:02
  • And to be clear, I don't mean 1-2 sentence answers in particular, but one of them is just blabbering with 0 details while the other has 0 explantation and half of it is irrelevant "don't worry" kind of note. Very obvious lack of quality. Commented Aug 8, 2025 at 2:05
